I CAN’T STAY QUIET ABOUT THIS…

As someone who was severely oppressed by demons in my teens, we are in an epidemic WITHIN the church where many are very oppressed and bound, but overall, we aren’t doing anything about it.

I used to lead worship on Sundays, then fall into depression and mental torment Monday through Saturday.

I used to attend a youth group talking the Christian talk, then instantly coming back under a dark, demonic cloud of confusion and bondage right afterward.

We have been told the lie that Christians can’t be in demonic bondage, which has only exacerbated a culture where demons can do what they want, and we won’t contest it.

Or, if we do recognize it, it’s too hard; I’m not willing to get my hands dirty, and we have to be careful not to upset them and make it worse.

After 2000 years, we have gone back to walking on eggshells around the enemy rather than exercising our authority in Christ to get rid of them.

But it’s because we want our neat and tidy services too much, maybe?

So we started taming down our services, and the glory and power left the building.

I mean, it’s safer, right? Less mess if we only talk about the Kingdom, but never do the Kingdom work.

It’s a TED talk church that keeps people distracted enough to forget they need real help.

We have shaved the Holy Ghost down to goosebumps and gate checked His other attributes at the door.

But if I can think of anything that has shifted in the last few months, it is this - the body of Christ is losing interest with the whitewashed tomb culture of keeping up appearances while lives fall apart in the pews and people are staying bound.

We don’t want neat and tidy if it means we can’t get real help, real deliverance, and real healing.

And the religious gaslighting to keep us contained and micro-managed just doesn’t win as many over anymore.

This next generation is bored with being babysat. They don’t want to read Bible stories. They want to experience the Bible. And the question to us is - Will we give it to them?

The tables of the church are turning right now, where we have allowed other idols to occupy and where we have traded God breathed for man-made. But the shine is wearing off. The spell is breaking.

And like a facade that begins to wash away, we are seeing what’s really underneath.

And yes, it might look ugly, but I didn’t just write this as a rant but as a word of hope. There’s beauty unfolding right now, too, through this.

The enemy thought he could keep the church bound, but our eyes are opening, and religion's spell is truly breaking.

Families don’t want a cool program if they can’t be free.

We want freedom because we have been reminded that central to Jesus’ mission was this very thing - healing and deliverance.

It wasn’t a sometimes. It was every time.

And right now, God is flipping the church upside down so we will stop calling UNHEALTHY, HOLY!

No longer will marriages suffer.

No longer will relationships be robbed.

No longer will kids be prodigals and run from God.

And it will no longer be a normal thing for Christians to suffer endlessly and painfully with the spirit of torment, nightmares, endless warfare, generational curses, and demonic cycles and patterns..

Not on my watch. Hold that - not on our watch.

But why am I sending this to you? Because this has been a year, God has revealed to the church that we can’t keep tolerating demonic activity.

We can’t keep making it normal for it to exist and for us to keep allowing it in through open doors and compromise (but that’s for another post).

We can’t keep playing victim when we keep an open-door policy with the devil because we have been so beaten down that we refuse to fight.

For the sake of our families and the next generation, we must rise up and turn this around.

In the last 6 months, I have seen more deliverances than I have seen in my whole life!

What is God doing? Cleaning house? Sure. But I think it’s deeper than that.

God is giving us back His power, where we forfeited it for religion, and operating in our gifts and our own strengths.

Because we aren’t grasshoppers in this new promised land where we see the enemy as giants beyond our authority and ability to overcome.

No, my friends, you aren’t facing impossibilities; we are facing a new threshold where we get our KEYS BACK!

So this week, shake off the defeat of the enemy and bring God, Who delivers, into your home.

I dare you to pray and dedicate your family, marriage, kids, and home to the Lord.

Let God expel and drive out anything and everything that has been hanging around too long.

Deal with it all. If you feel bound or sense demonic activity in any way. Come before the Lord and ask Him to show you what you have let in.

It may be a lie that has been there since your childhood, which has become a stronghold. Or a bondage that entered through trauma, sin, addiction, or something unclean.

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you.

Repent for what you have allowed, refute it, and refuse it any further access.

Ask every spirit the Lord reveals to you to leave.

Then take communion and seal it in the Blood of Jesus Christ.

And if you want to go further, draw a Blood line as a prophetic act around your home by pouring grape juice around the borders of your home and declaring, “THE BLOOD SPEAKS A BETTER WORD OVER MY HOME! NO MORE CAN THE ENEMY ENTER HERE AND CREATE CHAOS IN JESUS’ NAME!”

Let’s turn a page and no longer tolerate the enemy robbing us another day.
