GOD IS PULLING YOU OUT!

For the last few days, I have been reminded of the story of Joseph, how it only took one dream for him to be plucked out of prison and placed into the palace. I believe that's what God is doing right now in your life.

There are moments where it feels like the warfare is so intense that it’s like an all-encompassing, multifaceted attack on you that hedges you in, making you feel like you'll never leave that place.

It's a mental assault that is sent to crumble you so that you lose your fight, you lose your peace, and you stay in a place of defeat, when the Lord is actually trying to turn the tables and bring you into areas of victory.

But all it takes is one word from God, and it pulls you out of the prison that you've been in and reinstates you, restores you, and brings you back into full strength and the fresh vision that God's placed on your life.

I was also reminded of the story of David when he was in the cave of Adullam. He was in misery, surrounded by people who were rehearsing all of the issues of their past. In that place, the prophet Gad said, “David, get out of the stronghold you've been in,” and in that moment, David was taken out and he was restored.

“But the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not stay in the stronghold. Go into the land of Judah.” So David left and went to the forest of Hereth.” - 1 Samuel 22:5

So many people are feeling that intensity right now. That mental assault that makes you feel stuck, like Joseph would have felt in a prison season.

It's where you’re in an almost tormented mental space, saying, “God, I've been in this wilderness for so long. It feels like I've been going around this mountain for so long. It feels like I've been dealing with this for so long. It just feels like I've been in this delay for so long.”

Then defeat begins to creep in, and hope deferred tries to creep its way back. And in that moment, you need the word of the Lord that's going to cut through the lies of the enemy and pull you out.

You need a word that’s going to break the spell cast over you and the doubt and confusion trying to seep into your soul and make you feel sick and ABANDONED by God. Whoa, I felt that as I wrote it…

I believe this is a moment for so many people that the enemy's been placing prisons of mindsets and areas of strongholds in your life, sudden depression, anxiety, and fear, to keep you prisoner. But all it takes is one word of the Lord to pull you out of that place and to reinstate you, and to get you back on track.

So let this be the word of the Lord. God is pulling you out. He's taking you out of that prison you've been in, that wilderness you've been in. I call you out right now in the mighty name of Jesus!

Don't be like David, who was in the stronghold and surrounded himself not with the word of the Lord but with the grumbling of the people who were like him.

Recognize the assignment. Break partnership with it. And LEAVE THE CAVE in Jesus’ name!
