YOU'RE ABOUT TO STRIKE OIL…

This is the transcript from the video found HERE.

I had a dream last night, and I woke up this morning so stirred and with an expectation I couldn't shake, and I believe you're going to feel it too as I share this…

Firstly, here's what I know about the Lord – He will confront my faithlessness, my disbelief; He'll confront my deep places of grief with His goodness, or by revealing something He's about to do that is so opposite in nature to what I'm walking through in the moment. This is one of those words. Are you ready?

In the dream, I was walking around a barren desert-like property, praying and interceding. I was looking for something that I felt WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN ALREADY (that’s the part I remembered after I recorded after video), when suddenly I felt like I was meant to dig. In my hand was a wooden stick or rod. I barely touched the surface when out of the ground came oil and began to create a pool of oil at my feet.

I believe that's what He's about to do in you and in US, the body of Christ.

You're about to strike oil. And I want to tell you what that oil is, because you're about to step into a season of two things happening at once- an "only God could do this" season, and a fresh spring of intimacy and revelation bubbling up on the inside of you.

Here's the thing about this oil– The oil is the fruit of your obedience through suffering. It's the fresh oil breaking over your life after a season of being hunted, pursued, pressed by the enemy. And it's your commissioning– this is God sending you out of survival and into an occupation season.

That's what the ground shaking is. That's what the oil bursting up is. It's the sign over your life that the pressing is over and the pouring has begun after NO SIGN for years…

Have you felt barren in this past season? That’s the sore point for many which is why I believe the Lord is wanting to confront in us some areas where we've not been believing in God's goodness in this season because we've been in survival mode. That breaks today in the name of Jesus!

Back to the dream– I remember thinking, “oh my goodness, what do I do?” So I started yelling out for help. People came with buckets and fuel cans and we began scooping up this oil. I just couldn’t give it away fast enough because the oil kept coming.

The more I was giving away, the more oil there was and there was such a joy in it.

It reminded me of the story of 2 Kings–

“A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, ‘Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.’ So Elisha said to her, ‘What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?’ And she said, ‘Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.’” – 2 Kings 4:1-2

I feel like there are so many layers to this dream to look into, both corporately and personally. But first, this question comes to mind for me to ask: Is your faith in YOUR ABILITY or God’s right now? Are you trying to PROVIDE and move in your might and limited vision or His?

Here’s the next part:

“Then he said, ‘Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors, empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.’ So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, ‘Bring me another vessel.’ And he said to her, ‘There is not another vessel.’ So the oil ceased.” –2 Kings 4:3-6

The key in this story is this: As many jars as there were, there was the provision. The oil stopped the moment the empty vessels ran out.

In this season we need to keep bringing empty jars to the Lord… WE ARE THE EMPTY VESSELS…

I believe God gave me the dream because we're about to step into a season of THE OVERFLOW OF GOD’S OIL for the end time harvest. The Lord is about to pour out His Spirit without measure.

And yes, I do believe provision is a part of it, but primarily God gave me this dream because He's saying, “there is a season of fresh oil that is coming upon My church. There is a season of fresh oil coming upon My church for an hour that My church is going to need oil to combat the evil and deception invading.”

This is a wise virgin season that you must seek oil, and the Lord is saying, “don't be looking at everything else. Come and get the oil, come into My presence and seek Me while I may be found.”

I believe the jars represent two things:

Firstly, hungry hearts coming before the Lord to be filled. Secondly, THE FAITH to step into a new season and a new realm with the Lord. God is requiring both of us in this season. He's requiring us to go and get as many jars as we can.

You know what else comes to mind of when I think of this? Vision for as much as I can believe that God will do what He said He would do– that's the jars. And then when I run out of that faith, there's nothing left to fill… that's when the oil stops.

What do you need from the Lord? What are you desiring from Him? What are you longing for? Ask Him right now.

LET’S ACTIVATE THIS: Get some jars out in the spirit right now.

Say, God, here it is. Here's my jar. I need You to pour out Your Spirit here. I need You to pour Your oil here, God. I need You to pour out oil in my home. Lord, I need You to pour out oil with provision for the things you've called me to do.

The other prophetic thing in this story to mention is the widow’s town, Zarephath which means smelting place, or a refinery furnace, from the Hebrew word zarath – to refine metal by fire.

I believe the outpouring of oil is what always comes as the aftermath of a season of refinery – a season of being smelted in the furnace with the Lord. The Lord is saying, “on the other side of this refinery season is coming a provision, an outpouring unlike anything you've ever seen before.”

This is a time of provision and outpouring after the refinery and after the surrender. And notice this– it was in a season of drought. So she thought, well, I'm going to have to make amends, figure it out, juggle."

There are people reading this right now trying to figure things out in your own strength. Let me say this: you are not attached to Babylon. You may be in Babylon, but you're not a part of it. The Lord has a different way, a different outcome. Are you under Babylon, or under the Lord's system? Under the world or His government, His reign, and His provision?

This is where the Lord's saying, “I want to pour out My Spirit. I want to pour out My provision. I want to be the answer for you. I want to be the oil that you need in a season of drought. I want to be your everything again.”

What if this was a Goshen season for the Church? In the midst of all the chaos, people talk about power grids being shut down, blackouts, water shortages. I'm not saying to be foolish and ignore all of that, but I wonder if the Lord has solutions outside of what we're seeing right now.

What if this was the Lord saying, “I'm about to pour out oil, I'm about to bring provision, so that My church will be ready for the harvest at hand.”

Because we've been the poor, the broke, the ones in survival mode, when we're called to occupy. What if this was the Lord saying, “you're going to go from survival to occupation”?

What if this was the Lord readying His church for harvest, readying us for the Bridegroom to come back, and He was pouring out the last of the oil, but it was going to gush forth? It was going to be the greatest outpouring we've ever seen before?

“‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the LORD, ‘when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; the mountains shall drip with sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.’” – Amos 9:13

PRAY WITH ME– Holy Spirit, pour out Your oil. Pour out Your oil on my life. Lord, I thank You for the oil of healing, the balm of Gilead. The oil of a new season, a new wineskin season.

You can't have the new wineskin without the oil, you need the oil in the leather to keep it supple.

We just get our jars out right now, God. Fill every empty place. Increase our faith.

Get your jars out. Bring Him every empty place and don't gather just a few. This is the end of survival mode.

Because the oil is the fruit of your obedience through suffering. It's the sign of fresh oil after the season the enemy pursued you. It's your commissioning into occupation.

You're going from survival to occupation, and I prophesy it over you right now, in Jesus' mighty name, you're about to strike oil.

Send this to someone who needs a miracle. Send it to someone who needs to strike oil too.
