WORD FOR SEPTEMBER – THIS IS YOUR CROSSOVER MONTH.

September is going to be a game-changer month for so many people.
It’s a month God is bringing a FINALITY AND COMPLETION to an old chapter as we LEAN IN to Him.
It’s a SURRENDER month.
It’s a SEEK THE LORD, SET-APART month. A month to be INTENTIONAL about HIS ACTIVITY and what is on HIS heart and a month to be wary of DISTRACTIONS, DRAMA, FIRES, and peoples messes trying to rob you of peace.
It’s an UNTETHER & REFOCUS month.
In this transition and threshold process there has been such a war, a battle and witnessing the old fabric tearing away from the new which is why September is a DECISION month, and a month to either lean in or stay in the old flow. A month to lay down everything or stay stuck and cluttered.
Right now, God is breaking off old mantles. He's stripping you of everything you wore in the wilderness and everything you wore in Egypt.
AND… He's removing the deep grief that comes with that raw process.
I believe September is a month that is a point of no return, a crossover, a line in the sand.
God is leading us somewhere in September that we've never been before and we can't go on in our own strength.
God wants to put a fresh anointing and spirit upon you and set you free from your days of Egypt.
So, if you're tired and weary right now, let's be real about it. That old wineskin is heavy. That old yoke is heavy. That old jacket is heavy. You're wearing all of those things from Egypt. The attack you've been through, the warfare, the slander, the witchcraft that's been against you. It's heavy.
The Lord is saying,
“This is going to be a month I roll away the reproach of Egypt and I’llshift that battle for you. You're coming out of Egypt in your head and in your circumstances. I'm bringing you out.”
That’s the key here... THIS SEPTEMBER, MAN’S STRENGTH, MAN’S EFFORTS END!
Just as Moses means “rescued from the water” - he was a rescuer for a people UNTIL A CERTAIN POINT. Then, JOSHUA (God saves) had to be the one to lead God’s people into the promised land.
The Lord is saying over your September-
“You have done much in your own strength to rescue yourself and fight BUT FROM HERE ON OUT, I must be your EVERYTHING. This is a season that I, God, must deliver you, not man.”
In September, God is dealing with the demonic assignments that have been after you. He is dealing with the Pharaohs that have been pursuing you as you've been pursuing freedom with the Lord. He is dealing with the Jezebelic assignments that have been warring against your voice for so long. It's been tiresome. It's been weary.
The Lord is saying,
“This is going to be a month that I bring to finality the assignment Egypt has had against you.”
It has felt like Egypt has had a claim on you but that claim is ending this month.
In John 14:30, Jesus said “the ruler of this world is coming but he has nothing in Me.”
This is a season that God is dealing with the Egypt in us. He's dealing with the areas of commonality, the areas where we believe the lies of the enemy so it has access to us.
This month God is dealing with the slander that's been at your door. He's dealing with the pursuers, the hunters. The enemy is trying to stir up bands of people against you right now. God is rolling back the reproach of Egypt. You don't need to worry about them. Let them bark. Let them have their moment.
He's setting your foot loose from the snare. He's bringing you up higher above the things that have been a thorn in your flesh.
I keep seeing people in cycles, having to go back to specific problems, court cases, battles, financial situations, and God is saying, “I'm bringing it to finality right now.” The enemy has been trying to keep that in a continual loop. God's breaking it right now, in the name of Jesus.
THE NEW DOOR IS THE FLOOR
September is going to be a month of doors, doors opening and doors shutting. But here's what you need to know: the new door is the floor. It's not going to look the way you think. God is looking for people who would surrender to Him in this season, people who would lay down to receive what He's wanting to pour out.
“After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.’" - Revelation 4:1
There are things you're carrying, things you're doing right now, and the Lord is saying: “In September, will you give them to Me?” It might not always be laying down or dying to everything. But there are going to be some things you'll feel in your heart the Lord wants you to give Him.
God is after that surrender heart posture in September. What are the things you're doing right now that He wants you to take back into the secret place and lay down?
Pray this: Lord, are You on this? Are You on this friendship? Are You on this alignment? Otherwise, I don't want it.
A MONTH OF RETURNING
“Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her... I will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.” - Hosea 2:14-15
God's setting you free from Egypt and He's giving you back your song. It's an hour of returning to the original calling, the original cry, before Egypt came into the mix, before the warfare, before Jezebel started trying to taint you and own you and flatter you and rob you of your passion and fire, before those people came and surrounded you and stifled your calling, before you faced endless betrayals, before your health came under attack.
In September, God is bringing you back to the place where your fresh cry comes out of you again. The fresh song, the fresh voice, the fresh flow, the fresh utterance. God is giving it back. But it's a month of returning to the feet of Jesus, where everything else gets cut away.
Just as a heads up: in September you're going to feel the Lord cutting strings. You'll feel both freedom and lightness, but also a sense that there are certain things you've gotten used to being attached to. There's been codependency, and God's breaking those codependencies right now. The very thing you're needing freedom from is those areas of codependency.
A MONTH OF NEW WINE BEGINNING TO FLOW
It's going to be a month of invitation into the new wine, because the old wine has run out. The old vision has run out. Have you sensed there's an old anointing on your life that's just running out? Something's not working like it used to?
There are a lot of people who feel like damaged goods right now because you have been like the old wineskin... BURST.
You've been through the fire, through the wilderness, through difficult circumstances, and you're wanting God to rebuild you, to put a fresh spirit on you. But you feel like, “I don't know if my hour has come. I know the old has run out, but am I ready? God, have You made a mistake with me?”
This is an invitation to step into the new wine. It's an invitation to step into the finished work of the cross. The very fact that you feel at the end of yourself means you're ready, because God wants you to get to the end of you.
When the new wine begins to flow, it's going to confront everything that is old wine in our lives. It's going to look topsy-turvy, back to front, counterproductive, because the old system was a system of hustle. It was a system of man's strength, and God is breaking the back of man in this hour.
REAWAKENING AND REBIRTH
September is a month of reawakening and rebirth. I heard the Lord say,
“As you lay down in September, I will rebirth you.”
Rosh Hashanah is on the sunset of Friday, September 11th and the Lord is saying-
“Come back under the shelter of the Almighty. Come back under My wings, under My protection, into that place of intimacy with Me.”
Rosh Hashanah is a spiritual threshold. It's the day of the awakening blast. It also opens up the ten days of awe, a season of repentance and returning.
It's going to be a month where God speaks clearly into your life again, a month of fresh revelation, dreams, visions, God giving you clear vision where you've had none.
So many people have run aground, run dry. There are ministries and movements that don't know where they're going anymore. And the Lord is saying:
“In the month of September, if you incline your ear to Me, if you lay down your old things and come back to a place of intimacy, if you make September all about intimacy with God, I will give you the vision you need for the days to come. I'll remantle you.”
“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” - John 4:14
It'll be a John 4 moment, where you no longer bring water up from that old well of man, the old well of your forefathers, but you tap back into the well of My Spirit, fresh life bubbling forth on the inside of you. Rivers of living water begin to flow from your life again. Where the rivers have been stopped up, fresh waters will flow again.
REALIGNMENT & DIVINE ORDER
It's going to be a month of realignment. God is recorrecting what has been off track. He's bringing you back into divine order. Yom Kippur, the day of atonement, comes up September 20th to 21st.
The biggest travesty of this season is that in all the noise on social media, the noise of the old order, it's brought us out of alignment with God's heart. People are prophesying out of alignment with God's heart, speaking out of alignment with God's heart. And God is bringing you back into realignment.
The discomfort you're feeling right now is God bringing you back into divine order. Everything is out of order and out of alignment in your life, and God is reordering it. That reordering is painful because He's literally recorrecting. But the good news is, in the recorrecting, there is a deliverance that takes place.
I keep hearing the song, “I’m coming back to the heart of worship, because it's all about You, it's all about You, Jesus. I’m sorry Lord for the thing I’ve made it when it’s all about You. It’s all about You, Jesus.”
This is the sound of the month – COMING BACK to intimacy and shedding off all the STUFF that has been cluttering us.
THE MONTH OF THE SWORD OF THE LORD
September is going to be the beginning of the sword of the Lord Season.
“‘And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will be its glory within.’" – Zechariah 2:5
This is the season that God is separating you unto Himself. There's going to be a jealousy of the Lord that you begin to feel over your life. You'll feel waves of His presence and glory, and an invitation to come into fresh encounter with Him.
He's going to break off all access. He's going to be a sword around you. This is the season He's not only defending you, but separating you unto Himself. You're going to feel the Lord warring for you and jealous for you, not wanting you always stuck in those places where you're constantly fighting and battling.
God is sealing off all access and proximity to every lying spirit, every Jezebel spirit, every spirit that's been trying to access you. He's shutting off all access and separating you unto Himself in the month of September.
There's going to be such a work of deep deliverance. I believe people are going to be set free and healed in their body in September. You're going to see the Lord work in power and move in power in your life.
Whatever it is you're facing in September, ask the Lord right now: Come and invite me, Lord. I invite You into my September. I give You my September. I don't want to just go through the motions.
THE RENDING OF HEARTS
It's going to be a month of rebranding your heart. God's going to burn in you again. And you're going to feel your heart burning again.
“‘Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues…” - Revelation 18:4
And a month of rending hearts…
“‘Even now,’ declares the Lord, ‘return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.’ Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.” – Joel 2:12-13
September will be an altar month, a threshing floor month to invite the fire to burn away what doesn’t belong and for hearts to be branded fresh.
BIRTHING OF THE NEW WAY
I heard the Lord say:
“You forgot something. Tell them September is the birthing of the new way where my people will walk in the new way. My people walking in the new path, the narrow road again. I'm leading you out from the freeway back to the narrow road with Me. The pilgrimage to My heart.
I'm leading My people back to that place- the pure place, the honest place. It won't be the main highway of comfortable Christianity. It won't be the lights, the show, the cameras. It's going to be the place where those lowly in spirit and meek in heart will follow Me into greater depths of intimacy, where I'll instruct their life and rebuild them from the ruins of religion. I'm leading My church back into the way. Will you walk in the new way?”
That's the invitation. That's the decision many people are going to come to in September.
“Many are in the valley of decision,” says the Lord over September. “Will you be separated unto Me again?”
“My real remnant are rising up in September,” says the Lord, “that have not kissed the lips of Baal. I'm raising up an army. I'm raising up My disciples, My followers who would walk in the way, who would model the way. It's going to be a month of commissioning into something that looks very different to anything you've ever known.”
NOW HERE’S THE KEY…
“The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, ‘Samuel! Samuel!’ Then Samuel said, ‘Speak, for your servant is listening.’" – 1 Samuel 3:10
That's the key right now. In September, simply ask: Speak, for Your servant is listening.
If you lay down in September, if you surrender, if you let Him do what He needs to do, September is going to feel like a hospital ward month. It won't feel like it, but the Lord will be working, extracting, healing, fighting on your behalf. As you lay down, He fights and wars for you. As you surrender the old wine, the old rags, those old things, God picks you up and sets your feet upon a rock and opens a new door for you to walk in. He rolls back the reproach of Egypt and He deals with all your enemies.
People of God, cry out to Him right now: Lord God, I'm listening. Instruct me. Give me the dreams, give me the visions.
He will instruct you, and He will set your foot loose from the enemy in this season.
Even globally, what we're going to see in September is going to be like birth pangs in the earth, where God is revealing sons and daughters who will lay down everything. Only those led by the Spirit of God are the sons and daughters of God. Only those listening to the Holy Spirit will know what God is doing. You're going to discern the birth pangs, because the birth pangs are happening in you.
Get ready, people of God. I prophesy this in the mighty name of Jesus, that God is dealing with Egypt, and it's a crossover month. It's September. It's time to step out from that old thing.
Say it: I'm crossing over. God's dealing with my Egypt. I'm crossing over the Red Sea, the sea of the blood of the Lamb, because it's the blood that speaks a better word that leads you out.
