WORD FOR 2026 – I HEARD THE LORD SAY: WAYMAKERS, ASSEMBLE!
In worship a few nights ago, I went into a vision where I was on a ship battling a violent storm, with waves crashing up against it and tossing it to and fro. I saw people running around in sheer terror, but I was at peace. Suddenly, I saw Jesus standing there with the biggest grin on His face, and He was staring straight forward, not even concerned by the waves. Then I heard people saying, “Throw it overboard!” as they were getting cargo from the ship and throwing it over. I stood next to Jesus, and these words came out of my mouth: “What is our role in this next chapter, Lord?” And He said, “Keep the ship on course.”
After worship, I felt so stirred up. The dream was clearly highlighting the Church, the ship, and believers in a frantic state, and the cargo represented mindsets and methods we need to throw away. The waves/storm was the transition into the new chapter.
THIS ISN’T JUST A CHANGING OF THE GUARD - THIS IS A HANDOVER.
Suddenly, these words bubbled out of my spirit:
Waymakers, assemble! Get out of hiding! Rise up! The keys are now yours! Lead them! For this is not a changing-of-the-guard moment, but a divine handover. It’s a Daniel 2:21-22 moment, where I am handing over the keys of the Kingdom to My waymakers, a new, uncompromised breed who will not bow to Baal or prostitute My anointing to build their own kingdoms. They have been in the refinery for so long, they don’t know that I am now summoning them. Like Joseph, I am calling them out of the prison and calling them to tables where I have anointed them to lead the Church out of mess and chaos.
THE ROAR OF THE LION WILL BE ON THEM
“See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.” - Isaiah 41:15
And Waymakers, the roar of the Lion of the tribe of Judah is going to be on you in this next season. We’re done with the passivity of the Church. We’re done with seeing the coddling of demons and the tolerating of culture. And you are rising up in this season with an anointing on you that will look obnoxious to religion and obnoxious to the old system, because you’re going to come in like a bull in a china shop, that mighty ox anointing on your life, that will tear through systems and structures that have been tolerating these things for so long.
I kept hearing Isaiah 41:15: “I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth.” He’s been after your voice. But in this season, God’s going to make you into a threshing sledge. That means you’re going to come into 2026 to do damage, and it will offend the old system. You’ll be called all the names under the sun, but you’ll be leading the Church. It’s like you’re going to be tearing through areas where systems and structures and mountains have been formed and allowed by religion. You’re going to tear through them and begin to lead the Church out of areas they don’t even realize they’ve been imprisoned in for so long. And the Lion of the tribe of Judah will be upon you. You’ll come with victory. You’ll come with power. There will be signs, wonders, and miracles that follow you everywhere you go as you lift up the name of Jesus and raise your voice.
WAYMAKERS ARE OLD WINESKIN BREAKERS…
And Waymakers, you are the old wineskin breakers. I see you taking a hammer to those old wine vats. You’re like, “No, I’m tired of waiting for those last drops to come out. We’re tired of the old thing.” And I see you right now taking a hammer to those old parts and smashing them, the old structures, the old methods, the old ways. You’re overturning the tables of the past season, and you’re leading the Church into the pure thing again.
There are going to be confrontations in 2026 - confrontations where you will expose the spirit that’s been hiding behind things that look like holiness and purity, but are actually counterfeits. You’re going to expose when the enemy has been hiding in plain sight within religious environments. You’re going to reveal the real wine. You’re going to reveal what God’s doing. You’re going to reveal His glory; it will be so evident in your life. And you will carry solutions and strategies that have been hidden until now because of the purity of your heart, a heart after God’s own heart, hidden until now.
THEY CARRY SOLUTIONS & STRATEGIES HIDDEN UNTIL NOW
The Lord is going to use you to bring forth His blueprint, solutions, and strategies for a new era. You’re going to bring forth God’s heart for where the Church is going, where the Lord is leading, and it’s going to cause the Church to come back into a freshness again. And that will be the sign. The Church will come into a newness, a new day, a new dawn, and people will begin to flock to the Church in droves again, where there’s been a great exodus. And that will be the sign.
But you’ll also release solutions and strategies into areas of the earth that the Church has not previously been involved in: areas of government, the marketplace, health, research, and education. You’re going to bring forth the news of heaven, the strategies of heaven, that have been locked and hidden until now. The Lord says you’ll bring them forth just like those ‘Daniels,’ men who set themselves apart, not to eat or be defiled by the king’s table, but who carried the wisdom and insight of the Lord. So will you, in 2026, with the insight and wisdom of the Lord into areas far beyond your comprehension. But because of the anointing on your life, the Holy Spirit will brood and bring forth God’s heart into stagnant and stuck places, and you’ll release the word of the Lord that unlocks them.
THEY WILL OCCUPY AND DISPEL PRINCIPALITIES
And you will occupy and dispel principalities and powers. This will be a season marked by unusual deliverance, an anointing that will dispel principalities and powers in regions, issues, and situations. As you occupy and as you place your foot in those places, as you take authority, dominion, and power, it will begin to dispel things that have been occupying regions for too long. You’ll confront them, you will dispel them, and you’ll usher in the glory of God into places where it’s been held back.
And I keep seeing this wave in the spirit. God’s waiting for you. It’s a tsunami of His glory that’s waiting to crash into cities and regions around the earth. He’s waiting for the Waymakers to come. I see you right now with your hand up, and as you lower your hand, that wave begins to crash down. The Lord is waiting for you, Waymakers, to take authority.
There’s going to be a great migration at the beginning of 2026 as God prepares His Waymakers. Many of you are about to move, and you’re in transition right now. You’re about to move in 2026, so get ready to move into position, because God’s going to use you to usher in the next wave of His Spirit in those regions.
2026 WILL BE A YEAR OF DIVISION & BIRTHING…
And lastly, 2026 will be a year of division and birthing. It’s going to be a year of great contradiction, as we see the tares and the wheat in the Church begin to divide. There will be people who stubbornly continue to camp around the old wineskin, around what God once did, what God once moved on, but has now become compromised. As they remain there, they will no longer bear fruit. The glory will lift off their lives. The lampstand will be removed.
There will be a great disparity between this camp and those who are following the Lord’s heart, and it will create a massive divide. In the midst of all of that, it will look like division. It will look like polarization. It will look divided for a while. But out of the middle of that will come the birthing of a new breed of people and a great harvest.
God is going to save the ones the Church has labeled “unsavable.” In the midst of all this, God is going to use the misfits to call the lost home, the prodigals home, because they’re mantled with My heart, the heart of the Father, the Spirit of Adoption. They’ll go into the deepest and darkest places of the earth and call the lost home.
The religious voice is becoming obsolete. We no longer need the intellectuals; we need those who carry the heart of the Father and release it into the earth.
Waymakers, you are leading the Church back to family. You are leading the Church back to Acts. You are leading the Church back to its purest, most genuine, and most authentic expression. Mark my words, we’re exiting the days of empires, and we’re entering into the days of family again, and Waymakers, you are leading us there.
I want to end by talking about this - the joy I saw on Jesus’ face on that boat. This is not a time to be scared. This is not a time to live in foreboding fear of the unknown. Just because many feel lost, just because many don’t know where the Body of Christ is going, doesn’t mean God isn’t leading.
It looks like troubled waters in this transition, but it is a moment marked by joy, because the Lord has gone before you. Hebrews says Jesus is our forerunner. He’s at the head of that boat. And we, as Waymakers, it’s time to assemble, to take our place with Jesus at the helm and lead the Church forward.
