TO THOSE BUILDING WHAT THEY CAN’T SEE
If you’re building something right now for the Kingdom, if you’re in the early stages of planning, visioning, and building for the Kingdom of God, I want to share what the Lord spoke to me. I feel like there’s direction in this, but there’s also safety and warning.
The Lord said to me that what will be built in 2026 will not be built by man’s hands. And I said, “Lord, what do You mean not built by man’s hands? Because You need the laborers of the harvest to build what You want us to build.”
Then I heard Romans 8:14: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” And then I heard Psalm 127:1: “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” And I instantly perceived that the Lord was saying we’re stepping into a season where the Kingdom is no longer going to be built on the intellect of man, the knowledge of man, or the wisdom of man.
It won’t be built around good ideas. It won’t be built on the entrepreneurial know-how of a select group. It won’t be built on the networks and connections of man-made denominations. It will be built by the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:1 says, “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” And Hebrews 9:11 talks about a greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands.
God has been leading the Church out of an old wineskin that was built on what man can do, and of course, it came with man’s limitations.
That’s why we’ve seen such a lack of signs, wonders, miracles, and healings. We haven’t seen the true measure of the Spirit represented in our churches because, even with good intentions, we’ve been building with man’s hands. And the jealousy of the Lord in this hour is Him saying, “I can’t have you building something that only ever comes under your ceiling.” It has to be built by the Spirit.
That’s why in this season God has been making us uncomfortable. He’s been removing our confidence in our own abilities and giftings and teaching us how to surrender again, to let the Holy Spirit lead, direct, build, provide, and orchestrate His blueprints, His plans, His thoughts, and His words. He’s been detoxing us.
We have been unlearning “us.”
A lot of the limitations that religion created are being moved out of the way right now by people who are crossing over into unfamiliar territory and helping the Church understand that feeling lost doesn’t actually mean you’re lost. Feeling unsure doesn’t mean you’re failing. It usually means you’ve stopped orchestrating and started surrendering. Your hands are open now, and you’re just doing what God is asking you to do.
The second thing the Lord said to me was that in this next season, we are going to build on our knees.
And I know in our hustle-driven mindset that sounds like laziness, like we’re just waiting around for God to do everything. That’s not what this is. It’s a posture shift.
We’ve been building in our own strength for a long time, and it’s been exhausting us. And I know so many people, myself included, are in a season of building that feels slow, small, understated, and honestly a little unclear. It feels like we went from big plans to being fed by ravens. But this is exactly where the Lord wants to see if His pioneers are yielded to the Spirit.
As we move toward 2026, He’s asking some real questions:
Are you planning ahead without seeking Him first?
Have you fasted yet?
Have you asked Him for His blueprints, or have you already filled your calendar?
Are you really hungry for a move of God, or are you okay repeating the same patterns you’ve always known?
Some of you are tired. Tired of running. Tired of juggling. Tired of holding everything together. And the truth is, you’ve been doing it in your own strength, and it’s burned you out. The Lord has allowed you to reach the end of yourself so you could finally let go of the methods that have been crushing your body, mind, and soul.
He’s leading you out of the rat race right now. But I want to be honest about what it feels like. It feels heavy. It feels like treading water. But what it actually is is surrender.
I also have some words of knowledge for people reading this:
There’s a pastor reading this who feels lost. You’re restructuring your church, and you just feel “behind”, that’s the word I heard. But the Lord says, ”No, you’re not behind. You’re following Me well. Keep going!”
There’s a worship artist reading this who’s facing hard decisions with band, label, and alignments. You know, it's painful to have to make these big, life-changing decisions when people don’t understand, but it’s clearing the path. Keep following His voice.
There are families reading this who are coming out of Egypt, environments you’ve served in that drained you. You know God has been asking you to build something pure and organic. So what are you waiting for? Fear, break off now in Jesus’ name.
And lastly, I hear the Lord saying to so many of you - Start to gather. Start that hub. Worship in that barn. Build His thing, and don’t overthink it.
