This “warfare fatigue” you are experiencing isn’t what you think it is.
This “warfare fatigue” you are experiencing isn’t what you think it is. Hear me out.
Many are facing an unusual heaviness and fatigue from years of warfare, and assuming “I have hit my limit!” when in fact the opposite is true. This fatigue is the sign that you are at a threshold. A crossing point in critical areas of your spiritual life.
You are stepping out of old mindsets, old belief systems, lies, strongholds, and being healed from past soul triggers and pain points, and you are stepping into a new mantle, anointing, authority, capacity, and rhythm with the Holy Spirit.
Not to mention, you are at a critical threshold with many of the spiritual assignments and “giants” of your past season that you have overcome. You broke bloodlines. You exposed the snakes at your feet and the unseen enemies of decades. And you are only feeling fatigued because you don’t know yet how to navigate and ADJUST to the new changes and landscape of your life on this side of years of battle.
You are still feeling mentally crashed and trying to find your bearings as the equilibrium of your soul begins to find itself again, but this can only happen as you SURRENDER to the Holy Spirit.
This is where many of us fight the changes and double down in what is no longer working instead of pausing to find the new road. And that only increases the fatigue instead of resolving it.
Also, this fatigue is a sign that you can’t keep carrying everything you did before. And you can’t keep fighting in your flesh like you did when the battle is the Lord’s. It’s a season where you are learning to TRUST GOD to be the breaker instead of it constantly breaking you over and over.
And lastly, this fatigue is a sign that the giants ahead require you to step into the new anointing God has smeared upon you, and without it, you will only continue to feel more crushed instead of victorious.
And I’m not saying you aren’t going through warfare, but I feel like this fatigue is revealing that our tactics aren’t as effective as they could be. We can’t keep fighting the way we have been. The enemy wants us living retaliatory, and animals prodded in a cage when we have been given authority to defeat and overcome him by the Blood of the Lamb. Something has to change, and it IS changing.
So adjust. Surrender. Don’t just charge ahead. Find your new rhythm and recalibrate. Take off that old warrior’s backpack and worn-out boots in the presence and shake off the weariness trying to follow you into your tomorrow, in Jesus name.
