THIS SNEAKY, HIDDEN ASSIGNMENT IS COMING TO HEAD IN JUNE…
There’s a reason you’ve been waking up in a swirl every day. There’s a reason you have been sitting in a constant state of heaviness, and deep confusion about your direction and your purpose, trying to put your hands to the plough, but not knowing what your plough is anymore… not knowing what you’re called to do anymore, what your voice is, what your message is, or what you’re meant to dedicate your life and time to.
Plainly put, you have no clarity on your vision like you used to have, and it’s been spiraling you into a place of deep depression, heaviness, and anxiety.
Here’s why: The enemy has been assigned to assault your VISION so that you come into division or double-mindedness. And we know what the scripture says…
“A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” –James 1:8
I believe that for most people this has been in effect for 3-4 years especially where you have been PUSHING, but instead of moving with grace and ease like you have in other seasons, it feels like you're trudging uphill.
It’s where things that used to work don’t work as easy and some things, don’t work at all. And you have been worn down and exhausted from the warfare that meets you at the most menial tasks.
But how has it gotten in?
Subtle deviations…
The enemy knows that if he can bring in influences that taint your vision and your purpose, or rob you of it, you’ll be barren in a season of birthing. You’ll be empty in a season of planting, and you will be lost and confused in a season of running.
Proverbs 29:18 says, “where there is no vision, the people perish,” and the enemy knows this is a major target point to disarm us.
But the Lord is exposing this assignment of the enemy that has been keeping you stuck in a constant place and cycle of your plans being frustrated.
Now here we are in June and people here in California say it’s “June gloom.” It’s more spiritual than we realize because that’s exactly what the enemy wants to do– in the middle of the year, he wants you to be empty. He wants you to be directionless. He wants you to be confused about where you’re going and what you’re doing.
But this is what the Lord told me about June. He said,
“Nate, I am pulling My people out of the demonic STRONGHOLD that they have been in that’s keeping them running in circles and exhausting them.”
I know that place well. It’s multifaceted and the enemy has been playing the long game against you.
For Christy and I, the enemy worked a long game bringing us into division over our calling with America for so long.
We were believing the lie that we were meant to somehow straddle the fence between Australia and America. That double-mindedness brought so much robbery into our lives when the Lord was wanting us to fully commit to our calling here.
That’s exactly what has been taking place in the lives of so many believers.
God has called you and put a new fire in your belly but you are still tethered to something in the past that’s keeping you stuck. Or a voice in your past that has been like a false word that has led you astray or had you believing a lie so deep you haven’t realized the damage it has caused.
And the frustration and fruit of being stuck and in division is that your vision is like a broken net. A broken net can’t catch any fish.
That’s where you are finding yourself lacking oil– unction and anointing.
Lacking resources and opportunities.
Lacking people to run with.
And lacking the fire that releases the vision that sets others ablaze. Without pure, God given vision there is no herald to RUN! (Habakukk 2)
Right now, He’s exposing the enemy’s lies and assignments over us. And He’s also exposing our own agreements– the things that we have come into alignment and agreement with that were not His plan and purpose either.
Like I said last week, God has been exposing the wrong mantles, the wrong vision, and the wrong calling. Every single one.
But I want to explain to you the spiritual assignment that’s been working against you. Are you ready?
It is the spirit of Python, and the spirit of Leviathan.
The spirit of Python will come to choke the life out of you, the joy out of you, the strength out of you.
In Acts 16, Paul encountered this same spirit– a python spirit that followed, oppressed, and constricted until it was cast out.
It’s where nothing works. Nothing seems to come together. Everything is tedious and difficult. Finances dry up. Health issues come. It feels like you have spaghetti brain. You can’t quite put a sentence together like you used to. The fire is there, but somehow it doesn’t seem to quite come out of your mouth the way it used to.
It’s a place of continual frustration where everything is just difficult all the time. You wake up and everyday is a mess, and the house is in chaos.
The second assignment is Leviathan. Job 41 describes Leviathan as a creature that makes the deep boil like a pot and that churning, that chaos, is exactly what it produces in your relationships.
Leviathan comes to twist, skew and make everything difficult on a relational front. It’s where everybody works against you. There’s no unity. It just feels like there is a demonic assassination, a sabotage coming at you constantly from all angles, stirring up familiar spirits, saboteurs, and people that just want to take you down.
It makes you want to shut down because you’re like, ‘what is the point of all this?' It’s depleting my strength, depleting my joy, and depleting every part of me.’
These two assignments in tandem create such a realm of witchcraft and swirl over you that brings depletion and emotional breakdown, headaches, and sickness.
It brings defeat at such a level it actually triggers and targets areas of your insecurities and your soul that are the weak areas in the wall.
And those two things together eventually crash you, leaving you in a place of deep despondency and despair, where you wake up one morning and you’re like, ‘I don’t even know what I’m on this earth for anymore. I don’t know what I’m doing living.’
And that’s when the stronghold begins to form…
So no, this isn’t just June gloom. This is the enemy’s decree and prophecy over your year and over your month. But the Lord is saying,
“I’m breaking the gloom and going to use this month to BREAK YOU THROUGH THIS THRESHOLD.”
Yes, He is breaking that assignment, breaking that trifecta to bring you out of division and into clarity and vision. God is bringing you out of a place where nothing works to where everything works again.
Think about the Python spirit. It chokes the breath. So many people have been running around trying to make everything work in their own strength. It’s like you’re chasing the wind.
You know what the Lord says over you?
“You’re about to feel the wind on your back again. You’re about to feel the Holy Spirit on your back again.”
Isaiah 40:31 says, “those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint,” and that is your word for this month.
This is the strategy of the Lord for June. And please hear me in this– I heard the Lord very clearly that this is a month of re-consecration.
This is a month to consecrate yourself to the Lord in prayer and fasting, communion, setting yourself apart for the Lord to break that long-standing assignment that’s been over you, choking you and keeping you held up.
Isaiah 58:6 says the fast God has chosen is the one that “loosens the bonds of wickedness, undoes the heavy burdens, and lets the oppressed go free,” and that is exactly what this month of consecration is going to do.
This long standing bondage has been having you STUCK in yesterday, looking back at the people that have been against you and after you. It’s had you caught up and tethered to old experiences, old seasons, old people, and old alignments. And the Lord is using this month to break every single one of them once and for all.
It is a month of consecration that’s going to bring revelation, realignment, and breakthrough.
I decree this over you right now in the name of Jesus that this will not be a month of gloom. It will be a month where fruit begins to bud forth in your life from a place of fresh intimacy and consecration with the Lord. You will see this assignment buried in the ground never to return again, in Jesus’ name.
