THIS IS A REBIRTH MOMENT
YOU ARE BEING REDEFINED & REBORN (transcript of the spoken word)
Hey, mighty people of God,
I feel such a stirring in my spirit that what we, individually and corporately, are going through right now in the Body of Christ is a baptism into new life. It’s a baptism into the fullness of all that the finished work of the cross was meant to bring us into.
I know many people have been shaken up this week. I know many are seeing the Lord stir them, break apathy, complacency, and fear of man off them. But there’s also this element of recognizing that this moment, this chapter that’s begun in the Body of Christ on the earth, has been birthed through pain. The birth pains have led us to this moment right now.
It feels like everything we’ve known, we can’t go back to anymore. It’s a threshold we’ve passed. The Lord has used the difficulties of this moment, and even the previous difficulties of 2025, to define us and redefine us, both as the Church and individually.
The warfare and the battles you’ve been facing have been defining you and forging you, and you know this. That’s why the battle has been so intense, especially over the last six months to a year and a half. The battle has only intensified.
There’s been an assassination attempt on your life, your calling, and your destiny. The battle at your doorstep hasn’t just been to silence you. The days of the enemy just trying to silence you are over. Now he wants to take you out because of what’s coming and what you are about to step into.
The enemy sees what God is pouring out over you in this season. Why do you think he’s come at you all the more? Why do you think he’s surrounded you on all sides? Why do you think he’s trying to make you doubt all those promises God has spoken over your life? Why do you think so much robbery has come against you in such an intense way? It’s to make you drop your baton in a moment. But God is saying, “I need you to run. Son, daughter, I need you to run. There is so much more I have for you.”
And so, here today, I want to remind you of this. I want to remind you of what God has spoken over you. I want to remind you of the fiery call He placed upon your life long ago, the one the enemy has tried to cheat you out of. He’s tried to lure you away from it. He’s tried to get you to sell it for soup and moldy bread. But it hasn’t worked. It’s been tempting in moments when it’s felt like too much, and the cost of the call has been so real. But you’re here, and you’re standing.
Now it’s time to refocus in the midst of so much noise and chaos, in the midst of the shaking. This is a moment when you can either get lost in the swirl, the waves, the fear, and the unknown, or you can look up. The Lord is saying, “Look to Me, son. Look to Me, daughter. Now step into this fullness.”
I see the waters right now. I see the waters of the Jordan, gentle but flowing. And I hear Him saying over you and over the Body of Christ, “There is a fresh baptism you’ve stepped into.” This is the word of the Lord to the Body of Christ right now: “This is a fresh baptism of My Holy Ghost and fire. This is a fresh baptism of the fullness of the Spirit of God upon your life. This is the double portion moment,” says the Lord. “I’m breaking the shackles. I’m breaking the chains of the past. You will not leave this place the same,” says the Lord.
You are coming out of this right now in Jesus’ mighty name. Even by the sound of my voice, things are beginning to shake. They’re beginning to crumble beneath your feet. Every assignment of the enemy that has taunted you and tried to take you out in a moment is being broken. The Lord is calling you to come forth. It is broken now in the mighty name of Jesus.
“I’m leading you to higher places,” says the Lord, “so your mind will be clear again. I’m breaking the mental warfare and attack that’s been disabling you. You will step back into prosperity of soul,” says the Lord. “And you will come alive again in a way you’ve not known in a long, long time.”
I see those waters rushing over people’s hearts and souls. “I’m rebirthing you in this moment,” says the Lord. For the grief you’ve been feeling is not just the grief of the hour. It’s not just the grief of seeing devastating acts and calamities. It’s the grief of letting go. But God says, “It’s time to let go. It’s not going to serve you going forward. You can’t hold on to it.”
Receive the fresh baptism of fire. Maybe right now, you’re reading this and there are so many situations in your life and you don’t know how to keep managing them. You’ve been putting out fires, trying to knit together what’s broken, and you’re at your wit’s end. The Lord is asking you this week, “Are you willing to let them die? Are you willing to give them to Me?”
Right now, the Church is looking at itself in the mirror. The Church is seeing itself, with its cracks and its wrinkles. There’s beauty amidst it too. But the Lord is saying, “It’s time for you to be reborn. It’s time for the spirit of religion to breathe its last breath. It’s time for the Church of Acts to arise.”
Why do you think persecution has come? Why do you think so much is warring against believers right now? Because we have exited the days of the institution and returned to the early Church again. Moments like this simplify things. What are you called to? What has God told you you’re called to do in your life?
This is a baptism unto death that brings new life. Even now, as you read this, ask yourself, what are you still holding onto that God is saying, “Let it die. Right now. Let it die.” As you do, He is going to breathe upon your life in a fresh way again. What are you trying to preserve that needs to go under the waters? What are you holding onto that needs to stay under the blood?
“This is the moment,” says the Lord. “I’m leading you out. I’m bringing you back into the fullness of all that I have for you, your voice, your identity. I’m breaking off every assignment that’s been after you. It’s been after your marriage, your finances, your kids, and every single part of your life. It’s tried to disarm you. It’s tried to tame you.”
You’ve been stuck in a corner, tolerating all these things. But the Lord says, “I’m tired of seeing you tolerate this when you have Me living on the inside of you. When you carry the greatest power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.”
It’s time to shift out of a powerless Church. It’s time to shift out of a timid Church. It’s time to stop letting Goliath taunt you when you’ve been called to rise like David and take him out.
So let this be your reminder today, and this week. There’s a roar beginning to emerge. It might feel like a whisper right now, but something is shifting. Something is changing. Something is happening.
God is redefining you. He is redefining the Church. He is redefining everything. We are stepping into our true selves.
So let me pray over you now - Holy Spirit, come. Baptize us in fire. Baptize us in the Holy Ghost and fire. Fire, fire, fire. Fuego, fuego, fuego. Fire, in the mighty name of Jesus. Let it come. Right now, just put your hands on your belly and say, “Holy Spirit, fill me. Holy Spirit, fill me.”
And get up every single day and talk to Him. Walk with Him.
“Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons and daughters of God” Romans 8:14
We are leaving the caves. We are leaving the religious institutions. We are leaving timidity and fear behind. We are stepping into fullness, into boldness, into the roaring, says the Lord.
And finally, God is breaking the shackles off those who have been silenced and muzzled, in the mighty name of Jesus. You will no longer be bound by the opinions of man. You will no longer shrink back when you were born to stand up. You will no longer carry a muted voice when God has given you a lion’s roar.
And I also just want to add…
This is your coming forth moment. This is your appointed time, says the Lord. I’m putting fire on your tongue and a sword in your hand.
The grave clothes are coming off. The tomb is being rolled away. The stone is being removed. Resurrection life is breaking out from within you.
Let every dead thing, every dead mindset, dream, and promise you buried because of disappointment, betrayal, or delay be resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name!
