THE RISE OF THE GATEKEEPERS

God is raising up His gatekeepers right now.

They are the ones who stand watch over their home cities and nations.

They determine what goes in and what comes out. They stand watch and pray hearing the word of the Lord over their nations, over their cities, over their families, seeking the Lord for His will and for it to be accomplished.

They are the midwives of the hour. They see what needs to be nurtured and bring it to full term.

They see what is broken and needs to be mended, and they heal it. They see what needs to be built, and they build it.

Their eyes are set like flint; their hearts are steadfast. They are unmoved by the taunts of culture and the threats of the enemy.

They are the warriors at the breach where many have abdicated their roles and their authority.

They stand in the gap, taking arrows in their backs from the enemy on every side, but they do not falter. They do not fall.

They continue to stand, they continue to guard, and they make sure that everything God promised and said He would do comes to pass.

And they look and see what God is doing and about to do and declare it loudly like a war cry of hope amidst the chaos and despair.

If this is you, gatekeeper, I call you forth into a greater depth of your calling for this hour.

The days to come will feel more intense, more costly, and there will be more at stake, but your role is needed, your voice is needed.

Your willingness to lay down your life for the sake of the kingdom is what sets you apart. Gatekeepers, arise.
