DON’T FALL FOR THE SPIRITUAL DRAMA

There's a spiritual assignment that flares up every single time someone is about to step into breakthrough.

It's a specific assignment that tries to discourage and distract you in a moment that God is actually breaking you into new realms and opening new doors.

What is this spiritual assignment?

It's a spiritual assignment of distraction and drama that tries to stir up trouble against you to take you off course.

"But when the Jews in Thessalonica learned that Paul was also preaching the word of God at Berea, they came there too, agitating the crowds and stirring them up." Acts 17:13

It's an assignment of the enemy to try get you to stop doing what God has called you to do. To stop speaking and preaching the Word of God. To try to get you to stop releasing truth, revealing the heart of God, revealing the Good News, revealing what God is doing, prophesying from Heaven. It's a specific assignment that is trying to distract you and get your eyes off what God has you doing right now in this moment.

If you are stepping out, speaking out, emerging in your calling, moving in faith, building, and stretching forth your tent pegs then this is why you are facing this resistance.

It’s not “new levels, new devils.” It’s the enemy sending his minions of noise to OVERWHELM you, and sadly use other christians to do his dirty work.

Think about Nehemiah - "I sent messengers to them with this reply: 'I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?'" Nehemiah 6:3

It's the same assignment that came to him back then, to stop him from rebuilding the walls. That is exactly what many people have been facing this week.

I see it like this: It's spiritual drama - demonic and negative spiritual forces that orchestrate chaos, conflict, and crisis around you. It uses situations, people, and problems to distract you from your spiritual path, draining your energy, fire, focus, and entangling you in conflicts that aren't yours, and it pulls you off course from your calling and assignment.

This is how it typically manifests: This drama presents itself as ordinary things - Relational conflicts suddenly erupting, people bringing their chaos and expecting you to fix it. It’s crisis that keeps you reactive. Situations that want your emotional energy and attention. Offense, gossip, and strife. Problems that seem to flare up like fires that you need to put out.

Here’s the thing - you’re not really dealing with a problem, situation or a circumstance. You're dealing with drama that is trying to bait you into it so that you drop the assignment that God has put in your hand, and so that you are robbed of your peace, your time, and your joy.

It wants you to react in the flesh instead of responding in the spirit. Instead of opening the door that God is opening to you it wants you to open up spiritual doors to the enemy and step into the ring to fight a battle you were not called to fight. And to know what we’re dealing with, we need discernment right now.

I want to say this to you: Don't fall for it.

One of the ways the enemy works through this is by triggering you. He wants to pull on some areas of insecurity and fear that you've had in the past in a specific area, and then he wants to trigger you by having you react in the flesh to put out the fires, defend yourself, and appease that person. And t's all a distraction. The enemy is just trying to lure you into a fight. He's just trying to get you to react. He's trying to embarrass you and show you up.

Don't fall for the spiritual drama. It is just a play the enemy is putting before you, hoping that you'll be triggered to step into it. Don't take the bait.

God is calling you higher. God is calling you to a place of seeing with His eyes. He's increasing you, He's multiplying, He's putting His favor upon you.

You've seen small moments where the Lord has been increasing you and blessing you, and the enemy is trying to rob those small seeds right now. The enemy is trying to distract you, crush you, and rob you of your peace and joy that will lead you in the right direction and path. The enemy wants to lead you off track.

Don't fall for the spiritual drama this week.

Instead say, “No, I’m not falling for that. I'm not taking the bait for that. I'm shaking this off into the fire. All the snakes, all of those things that are trying to surround me, all those issues that are trying to arise… that is not my fight. I refuse to enter into something that God has already overcome for me. I refuse to entertain the idea that it is my job to put out all these issues.

Say, “No. God protects me. He covers me. He fights for me. God is going before me.”

"I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron." He is levelling mountains and making my path straight. Proverbs 3:6 "In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Isaiah 45:2

Get out the Word of God and just begin to declare it and prophesy, and watch those snakes go running. Watch those assignments dissipate. Now, step back into the reality of God's perfect plan, the future for your life, and watch that drama disappear, in the mighty Name of Jesus.
