you’re not broken… you’re built differently.

This last weekend was a busy weekend of ministry events. There was a moment where I was sitting with the Lord when the Presence of God came over me powerfully, and I began to write these words down. He pierced my heart showing me that right now there’s a generation, a new breed that He's been setting apart and preserving for this moment…

You’re not broken, you’re built differently.

You can't do hype, emotionalism, sensationalism, or entertainment.

You can't be distracted by the glitz and glamour of this world and even the spiritual puppetry of much Christian culture.

You can't be won over by the distractions of popular religion when there's a world out there looking for a savior – when there's a world out there longing for HIM.

You can't shift your gaze from the King of kings when there's a harvest coming.

You can't coddle demons when you are called to cast them out.

You can't normalize dysfunction when you carry the spirit of Truth.

You just can't eat the same food other people eat or sit at the tables that they're comfortable to sit at.

You can't share company with Jezebel when you are called to throw her down.

You can't entertain gossip and witchcraft when you are called to speak life.

You can't wear all their brands and adorn yourself in the world’s standards. And no matter how much they try, you just can't keep wearing Saul’s armor.

You can't wield their swords when you’ve got the sword of the spirit.

You can't think the way they think and obsess over what they obsess, when you are obsessed with the King and live for the audience of One.

You can't call evil good, and good evil.

You can't run with the crew that other people run with and settle for their company at the cost of your anointing.

You can't compromise for the sake of acceptance and being liked when God has called you to say the things that tear down strongholds and principalities.

You can't do this life for you. You can't do it to build your own kingdom, and to build your own empires.

You can't sugarcoat the Gospel. You’re called to the Great Commission.

Signs and wonders are meant to be normal and your life is a display of the King's power.

You’re the John the Baptist in the rough, and you just can't live any other way.

You have tried to fit in, to sit at those places, to be popular, to be cool, but it never works for you. God doesn't allow you to be comfortable in those places of compromise and mixture because you are called to purify it.You’re called to clean it out. You’re called to be the voice of purity that breaks through the noise, and to keep the church on the straight and narrow path.

So, resort to the fact and the truth that your life may always feel like you’re on the outer, but you’re accepted in the inner courts of Heaven and all of Heaven knows your name.

You may feel like a misfit, but you belong to Him.

God's calling a generation to be set apart and on fire right now, and that means we're going to have to be separate from the world.

Yes, we're still in it. We're still in the midst of it, but somehow, we burn differently.

God's looking for a bride who will follow Him, who will look like Him, and sound like Him.

We won't look or sound like the world. We won't even look or sound like the comfortable church that is currently selling out for the sake of acceptance.

They're selling out for the Hollywood script. But we are not a Hollywood church. We are a purified church.

We just can't pretend anymore. We can't slap a revival label on something that He isn't in. We can't manufacture what only He can birth.

I'm looking around right now, and I see people who have been set apart on fire for God, through the purging and the refinery, and they're saying, “God, what's wrong with me? Why can't I be like them? Why don't you let me into those places? I feel lost. I don't know where I'm going.”

The Lord says, “No! You are not broken, you are built differently. You can't do what they do because you're not meant to do that.”

You're a cut of a different cloth. You're filled with the Spirit of God and the Spirit of purity is on your life.

You're marked for intimacy. You're marked for power. You're marked for this fresh move of God. This true move of God that is emerging.

You were born into an age of distractions and counterfeits and you’ve been on a road that's felt lonely. But that's because you are a pure one, an authentic one.

No, my friend, you are not broken. You are built differently.

I know that it's led you to have a distaste for so many things, and you don't understand why you just can't run with the things other people run with, and you don't understand why you just can't go with the flow of other things that people are flowing with, but God has set you apart.

Are you okay with being even further set apart in this next hour so that God can build through you what He wants to build?

In a time where believers are still so drawn to Hollywood culture and celebrity Christianity, God is looking for a people in this hour who will live pure and who will build pure.

I know it's a slow road. Let me say that again… I know it's a slow road. But it is the road to building what is everlasting. It is the road to building that which is not built by man's hands.

For in this hour, the Lord says, “I am looking for a people who will build My house. I'm looking for people who will build what I want them to build.”

Maybe this is a word for the pioneers out there as well. Are you trying to get your thing built or are you waiting for God to build through you? Are you trying to get your thing off the ground or are you okay with God’s timeline so that He builds what is everlasting?

Because what is built on man would take a lot of effort to keep going. But what is built on the Lord, He will sustain. He will provide, and He will grow and cause to flourish.

Let me say this one more time – You are not broken. You are built differently.

Lean into it, David. Lean into it, John. Lean into it, Esther. Lean into it, Deborah.

This is a moment the Lord is calling you into a greater level of separation for the sake of the demonstration and representation of the King of kings and His kingdom on this earth BUT you will find your tribe there.

You are the first fruits of a fresh move of God.

I prophesy over this week, dreams and encounters with the King of kings. Encounters, come.

Right now, if you've been feeling like you are left out and left behind, I break that off you right now, in the Name of Jesus. God has been setting you apart. There is a moment coming that you'll be so glad that He protected you from those circles and those places that have been tainted by religion and Jezebel.

“For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10
