5 LEVEL UPS YOU GOT BY FACING JEZEBEL…

God is raising up weapons right now through all the warfare that you've been through, and it's very common for us when we're going through warfare to be very focused on the negative. We're focused on all the things that the warfare is robbing but I want to flip the script a little bit and tell you what we rarely speak of, and that is what the warfare that you and I go through does to bring us higher. The warfare presses and crushes us, but actually draws out who we really are. It's painful, it's difficult, but it can fast-track the call of God on our lives many times. It can level you up in ways you could not have imagined.

Over the last few months, I've had endless messages and emails from people saying, “I've battled Jezebel,” and there's just been a sense of victimhood in it. I've felt such a need to encourage people who have faced Jezebel, like I have my whole life, through many different scenarios, situations, and faces. If you've battled the spirit of Jezebel in your life, can you see the areas it's actually increased you and forged you into a mighty weapon for the kingdom of God?

So I'm going to give you four ways that God has used your battle with the Jezebel spirit to bring you up higher, ways the enemy has overplayed his hand, causing you to step into a whole new level of the anointing of God on your life and the voice you carry.

Are you ready?

HIGH LEVEL EMPATHY

If you have battled the spirit of Jezebel, you will have developed a high level of empathy. The reason for this is that the Jezebelic assignment wars against your mind more than anything else. It’s a war against your emotions and your peace and intimacy with God. So if that's a weak area for you, your first battle is going to be in your mind. Like Elijah, who ran into the cave and wanted to die, it will make you confront areas and triggers of your life, weak areas, insecurities, and past trauma. And if you make it through that, your mind will not only be weaponized, fortified, and stronger, but you’ll come out with a higher level of sensitivity to other people’s processes and a high level of empathy for other people going through pain. This is an amazing tool in life: being able to minister to others and set them free from the very thing you faced.

DISCERNING OF SPIRITS

The next thing is that if you face the spirit of Jezebel, you will have received the gift of discerning of spirits. You cannot face the spirit of Jezebel and ever look at life the same way. When you're out there and you experience that same spirit or see somebody else going through it, you can easily see it because you've been through it. Maybe in the past you could’ve been unable to see spiritual dynamics and mechanics, but now, because you've been through it, it's easy for you to recognize. You can discern between different spirits. You can discern between different assignments. You can see tactics. You can see the playbook wide open and help people understand what they're going through. You can also speak to the body of Christ and help them understand the dynamics of that spiritual agenda and how to counteract it through the Spirit of God.

AUTHORITY OVER THE COUNTERFEIT

If you've battled the spirit of Jezebel, you've gained authority over the counterfeit. Jezebel means “unhusbanded.” She is the counterfeit of the prophetic voice. She’s the counterfeit of true anointing. She’s the counterfeit of true relationship and connection with God. She has the appearance of superiority, anointing, influence, and prophetic insight, but it’s all counterfeit. And when you've been through it, you see it.

But it goes beyond just being able to discern and see; it’s that you have authority over that which you have overcome. You come out of that battle able to take authority and bind up that which you've experienced, and you've gained air superiority from it. This is especially powerful in situations where you go into regions or places where people, families, or even whole churches have experienced this spirit. You are able to bind up that counterfeit and ask God to usher in the prophetic that has been stopped up or driven out. You have authority over the battles you have overcome. You don’t tolerate her, and you are teaching the church how to see her and not tolerate her either.

ANOINTED TO BE A VOICE THAT SETS CAPTIVES FREE

If you have battled the spirit of Jezebel, you’re anointed to be a voice that sets captives free. Any battle you go through will always bring oil, unction, and a whole new dimension of an anointing that breaks yokes. But if you face the spirit of Jezebel, there's a very special anointing that I’ve seen over the years, one that raises up voices that were once muzzled and causes them to become yoke-breakers in some of the most difficult spiritual circumstances. Yet so many people don’t recognize or know this until they're given a moment or an opportunity to put that oil to the test. I want to say this to you this week - if you've battled this spirit, if you've been walking through this assignment and you feel depleted, run down, broken down, and just like a victim, if you still feel muzzled after going through it, I want to say this - break out of that mindset. Begin to put that oil to use. Begin to raise your voice, because you're not a victim. You're an overcomer. You may have been through this and experienced it over and over. Maybe, like me, you’ve grown up in it. You’ve seen it in the church, in relationships, in every area. But this isn’t to make you feel like a victim, this is to make you realize you have authority over this spirit and now carry the same anointing like Jehu to OVERCOME it completely.

YOU ARE A WAYBREAKER

And lastly, if you've battled the spirit of Jezebel in your life, God has called you to lead the Church forward into her destiny. God has called you to break the Church out of ruts. God has called you to say the unpopular thing that few are saying. God has called you to bridge the gap and lead the way in this season of transition. This spirit has been trying to hold people and the Church back from their destiny. But you, having endured it and overcome it, now get to lead the Church into her best days. It’s like Jacob wrestling the angel of the Lord until daybreak, where he prevailed with God and man - I feel like this is a moment where God is saying, “because you have prevailed against this spirit, you can now lead the charge. You can now take the Church into her destiny and set captives free.”

So don’t be a victim anymore in this. Stop seeing yourself as a grasshopper when God has raised you up and used this to forge you and make you a weapon for the Kingdom of God. You are anointed to model purity and the real thing, where all you have seen is cultures and environments infiltrated by this spirit. LEAD THE CHARGE OVERCOMERS!

REFUSE TO BE MUZZLED OR LIVE WITH THE STIGMA

Oh, and one last thing…BE A VOICE! REFUSE to be muzzled any longer. Shake off the weariness of battle and accept your assignment to UNMASK HER, where she is hidden in plain sight and seated comfortably at most church tables. And also, shake off the stigma. You are greater than that, YOU are IN Christ Jesus!

It may have been a battle that was sent to take you out, but it only BROUGHT YOU UP HIGHER & ACTIVATED THE REAL YOU!
