We can all agree that in the last month it has felt like the spiritual temperature has risen in the earth and many are overwhelmed and lost in it, wondering what is going on and why SUDDENLY it feels like war in the heavenlies and in the earth. The reality is, the enemy has unleashed a beast.

But the thing is, you and I are not meant to come under this temperature- we're meant to supersede it, because we have power OVER the enemy, and this is new terrain we have to RISE IN OUR AUTHORITY in, and not fall prey to, especially in the next three months...

You ready?

I heard the Lord say…

“Don't fear the sudden onslaught because I have a solution.
It's not new levels, new devils. It's new territory, new opposition you haven't faced before, but now I'm teaching you to meet it and defeat it.
I'm the one that determines the temperature. I'm the one that determines it, and right now I'm bringing my people higher.
The enemy has unleashed a beast because of what I AM DOING...
It's to cause devastation, division, and to derail the body of Christ in a season that I'm creating a new net.
This has been unleashed to prevent the GREATER GLORY I am pouring out.
The birth pangs have unleashed this beast, a principality that comes primarily to COUNTERACT my plans in the earth.”

What God is doing

God owns the clock. It's His timeline. The enemy can only counterfeit, he can't create.
God is raising up sons and daughters right now and unleashing a new breed of believers.
A greater glory is coming upon the earth with signs, wonders, and miracles. A new voice of healing movement, sonship, and a DISCIPLESHIP/MOBILIZATION era for the church.
God is assembling His avengers. He's assembling His fivefold army to come together to be the UNITED ECCLESIA.
There's going to be a harvest of souls poured into the kingdom of God in this next season which is why we need a better net.
He's bringing together churches and paraministries that have been seen as outcasts in past seasons that will be the glue that holds and brings the net together in this season. The John the Baptists are going to be the ones that bring the connectivity because they think kingdom, not just church.
A new wine is being poured out and a mass AWAKENING...

What has been unleashed

"Can you pull in Leviathan with a hook or tie down his tongue with a rope?" –Job 41:1

This spirit is none other than Leviathan from Job 41.
To counteract the John the Baptist movement that is rising up right now, Leviathan has been unleashed.
It twists words and twists heart intent.
It comes to divide marriages and homes.
It partners with the religious spirit to bring division in the church so people battle against things they shouldn't be battling about and against each other.
It unleashes a level of witchcraft that is like a mind-blinding spirit.
Leviathan is a murderous spirit that wants to assassinate. It wants to tear down your fruit, and destroy every part of your life.
Jezebel's spirit partnering with Leviathan doesn't just want to take out the voices of the prophets. It wants to destroy the prophets and the fruit.
It sees the WILD ONES that are being raised up and the movements that are being birthed and has come to SABOTAGE AND DESTROY them.

Why it comes at the birth

"We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time." –Romans 8:22

"His tail swept a third of the stars from the sky, hurling them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, ready to devour her child as soon as she gave birth." –Revelation 12:4

Leviathan comes in seasons of birth.
Anytime God is birthing, releasing anything new, Leviathan will disperse and divide the body of Christ and lead her astray and get us to partner with slander and witchcraft and gossip so that we forfeit the birth.
This comes at the beginning of a wave and at the beginning of revival.
It comes as God's launching you into your calling, your destiny, and it comes to distract, to derail you.
Leviathan doesn't just come in a season of birthing. It comes in a season of recompense. There are so many people that are being realigned with their calling, their purpose after years of being derailed right now.
It's always a hijacking spirit. It can never create. It can only counterfeit.

In the next three months, watch for…

You'll see Leviathan on the world stage and on the news stirring up trouble between leaders, nations, and between people.
You're going to see Leviathan hooking and triggering leaders and people, and dividing the church creating more factions and fissures.
There's going to be culture wars and justice wars that arise and things that try to pull and tug and distract and derail the body of Christ in a season where the greater glory is being poured out and it's going to create divisions and sides.
There's going to be a whole new level of deception unleashed by this Spirit. Do not fall prey to it.
There's going to be theology in this next season that sounds right but it's going to be twisted.
When the enemy tries to bring divisions in friendships and alignments and relationships, to divide partnerships, to war different churches and ministries and movements against each other, don't fall prey to this.
Look at who's being attacked because they may be carrying the new wine.

How do you know Leviathan is at work?

Twisted Communication. It's when you say something that is heard a different way and creates endless disconnect and relational problems.
Sudden Relational Breakdown. That's where friendships and teams fracture over small things that don't mean anything right before breakthrough.
Pride and Hardness. People get defensive, and they won't reconcile or they feel self-righteous.
Accusation and Gossip. False narratives start circulating about you and it becomes a war of witchcraft and slander against you.
Dry and Muddy Waters. Revelation and prayer feels sealed off. The prophetic flow just isn't flowing, and you are not dreaming like you used to.
A Mind-blinding Fog Comes Upon You. Confusion. Second guessing what God has clearly said. It's where you doubt your mission. You doubt your calling, and you doubt everything.
The Pharaoh Mentality. People rise up operating in this spirit twisting your own words and throwing them back at you, or try to HOLD YOU BACK and ENTANGLE you in a net of confusion disguised as caution and advice.

The solution

"If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the battle and never repeat it!" –Job 41:8

God gave us this strategy. Job 41 says that when we engage we get defeated, but Revelation 12 says when we take it to the BLOOD OF THE LAMB, it is rendered powerless. God fights this principality for you... DON'T ENGAGE.

"They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." –Revelation 12:11

"Speak to him and tell him that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies among his rivers, who says, 'The Nile is mine; I made it myself.'" –Ezekiel 29:3

The Nile was the place of the crocodile and where Pharaoh is called "the great monster" of the Nile, yet God turned it to blood. God brings judgement to this spirit and we OVERCOME BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB.

"This is what the LORD says: By this you will know that I am the LORD. Behold, with the staff in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will turn to blood." –Exodus 7:17

"For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." –Revelation 7:17

Christy had a vision of a crocodile lurking around our home but it couldn't get in, and we were up on the second floor pouring blood onto it and drowning it. It reminded her of Rahab holding the scarlet cord out of the window in Jericho. There are battles God trains our hands for and others HE MUST FIGHT FOR US... This is one of them.

Here's what not to do:

Don't Be Baited. Don't take the bait. The moment you jump in to defend yourself, you're wrestling on your own in these waters.
Don't Gossip. Talking about it feeds it and it comes back on your own head.
Don't Fight Fire with Fire. Leviathan is king over the proud, so humility takes away its throne. Don't think you're better than somebody else.
Refuse to be Offendable. Offense is the hook it uses to drag you under.
Go Direct. If you need to confront somebody, don't do whatever over text. Don't do the weird social media thing where you throw out posts about people because you're too weak to go and talk to them. Go in person.
Guard What You Feed On. Don't expose yourself to social media sources that are polluted. Be careful who you are talking to and listening to. Maybe you've also got to untangle yourself from the wrong networks.

More strategy…

Humility. Job's friends spoke with theology that sounded right but it was twisted. Job actually rebuked his friends but he did something key- He stepped in a place of humility and prayed for them, and God restored double.

"After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions." –Job 42:10

Let God be your vindicator. If someone's wronged you, let it go.
It's a Call to the Stream. God has been leading you back to the river out of exhaustion, because it's in the river that we pick up the five smooth stones.
Go to War with the Blood. How do you defeat Leviathan? You have to choke it out by the blood. You can't battle this on your own strength. There are some battles that God trains your hands for and there are other battles you bring to the blood and this is a battle in this season.

Pray with me:

Jesus, it is Your name and it's Your blood that overcomes. I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony, and I love not my life unto death.

God, I die to trying to fight this in my own strength. It is Your body and Your blood that overcomes.

God, forgive me for my words. Wash me white as snow. I will not speak against another believer and I will not be led astray in this next hour.

In the name of Jesus, I uncontract right now from every influence I have allowed this assignment in, every area of bitterness, every backdoor, every alignment I've partnered with this spirit. Break every contract I've been in that's demonic, every contract to the enemy, to addictions, complacency, apathy, sin in my life. Every agreement I've made with the enemy, I break it and bind it now in the name of Jesus.

Leviathan, I will not come under this assignment. Where this has broken my body, my mind, my soul, my emotions, my family, I break that assignment now.

I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, my voice, my marriage, my home, my children, and over everything God is birthing through me. God, if there's any open doors in my life, my marriage, my family, shut it now.

I go to war with the blood. I choke out this assignment through the blood, because this isn't just a prophetic, metaphorical act. This is a literal and spiritual act in one.

The blood speaks a better word. It's prophesying over my life. It's the greatest prophecy I'll ever hear.

It is finished. I don't come under it. I come above it. You've defeated the beast. You've overcome the world. And I step into that victory now in Jesus' mighty name.
