FOR THOSE WHO BARELY SURVIVED THEIR DARK NIGHT
If you go through Gethsemane, you won’t leave the same.
You won’t be the same person you were before.
Dark night seasons will kill you in a sense, and ruin you from whatever you were doing beforehand, even who you used to be.
You won’t have the same desires or wants.
You won’t even feel called to some of the things you were previously.
The seed fell to the ground and died. You fell to the ground and trusted Him with the process.
Then the morning finally came and you expected to feel alive right away but instead you just feel...lost.
You don’t identify with what others are doing.
You just can’t invest in meaningless things.
You heart has shifted, but it’s more than that.
Your eyes are OPEN.
Your spirit man is sharp.
And your oil is flowing.
It just takes time for your mind to catch up with the changes.
And right now many people are in this place where they found themselves in a trial, a test, and a wilderness.
Midnight came and it stripped you of everything.
You wrestled God until daybreak.
You cried like Job watching your whole world being taken from you.
It didn’t make sense.
You had to lay it all down. Your dreams. Your promises. Your questions.
You wallowed in grief until the first few rays of light shone through the darkness.
And you heard His voice again…
Then the confusion finally broke.
The mental assault broke.
The war broke.
Gethsemane delivered you.
It forged you.
But whether you see that yet or not, let me prophesy…
You are not who you once were and in the next few months you are going to see what your yes to the Lord accomplished even when it looked like death.
You lived the verse people often edit out..
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” - Revelation 12:11
Now watch what comes from that space.
