THERE’S A DECEPTION STORM HEATING UP RIGHT NOW & THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW…
I sent out a post last week sharing what I felt was a heads up to some things we are going to see unfold. Not from a place of fear but insight so you are aware of the enemy’s tactics to lead the church astray. I want to share it to you here with some clear directives of how to navigate it. Here’s what I posted:
There’s a deception storm heating up right now & this is what you need to know…
UFOs, aliens, and a new kind of virus? Hmmm… get ready because that’s just the warm up to what we are going to see between now and the end of the year.
For the last few months the Lord has been giving me dream after dream, warning me about a coming propaganda storm of distraction, one that was going to come in many different ways on a global scale in the world and in the church. These were going to be lies dressed up as truth and agendas trying to take root. They were going to be counterfeits sent to take the eyes of the world and the church away from the genuine thing that God was doing and pouring out.
Last week, I was asking the Lord again about this and whether I needed to post about it or just pray. To be honest I was feeling a level of defeat. I was like, “God, how much more distraction and how much more demonic propaganda can we handle? So much of the church has already bought into so many lies.”
He snapped me out of it with this powerful statement. He said to me,
“Nate, my church is called to ride the storm.”
I believe it is a storm of illusions and falsehoods looking like truth... LOOKING SPIRITUAL, that brings confusion and deception. It is going to be lies that try to shift the narrative away from Christ. It’s an antichrist spirit coming in another form that is going to genuinely confuse a lot of people in a myriad of ways from global news, crisis’, to false signs and wonders. It’s going from global conspiracies to fake revivals, all with the intent of BAITING THE UNDISCERNING into another rabbit hole and counterfeit spirit.
At the same time, GOD WILL BE MOVING in power and we will see His Spirit poured out in ways we have never seen, and this is why this assignment of illusion was coming.
I said, “Lord, how do we counteract this right now?” And He said,
“Tell my people to get oil while oil may be found. Tell my people to seek me, and they will not be led astray, and PRAY with the authority I have given you!” (Matthew 25:1-13)
So we don’t need to fear the storm, church. Our prayers PUSH BACK the storm. But are we praying? Are we seeing? Are our eyes open? Be aware when you see things erupt that you are not meant to come under it. You are not meant to allow that fear to affect you. You and I are called to ride the storm.
We are seated in Christ in heavenly places. This is a call for us to come up higher so we can see clearly. (Ephesians 2:6)
So when you see the storm starting to blow and pick up speed, don’t run! But release TRUTH into it and like Jesus did, SPEAK TO IT TO BE STILL.
Whenever God is moving, a counterfeit will rise to hijack it. When God is doing something new and powerful in you, the enemy will send a distraction to get your eyes off what you are birthing.
DISCERN IT. RIDE THE STORM, CHURCH. DON’T BE BAITED BY IT.
how do we navigate an increase of distraction and propaganda?
1- We spend more time in the secret place hearing Gods voice than we do scrolling and doomscrolling. That’s how we become like the wise virgins seeking oil.
2- We become more aware of what God is doing than what the enemy is doing. That way, we can easily discern what is Him and what isn’t.
3- We pray more, speak, and decree God’s heart instead of the problem. Be solution focused. You carry the redemptive answer through the Holy Spirit.
4- You refuse to partner with fear. You are anointed for this hour and you don’t need to be intimidated.
5- Ride the storm. Live above it. Ask God for personal wisdom to know how to make decisions to not be affected by what you see and hear.
6- Discern the flood of noise better. Eat the meat spit out the bones.
7- Test the spirit of everything. Not in a critical spirit or assumption but with the Spirit of Truth.
8- Don’t be a follower. Get your own conviction.
9- Speak the word of the Lord in a time that culture, religion, and the deceived are prophesying LOUD.

Lord, help me rise above the noise and give me eyes to see clearly what is you and what is not, what is truth and what is not. I refuse to fear and I refuse to be deceived or led astray. Instead I choose to discern and align with you, Holy Spirit, instead of the wrong spirit. Fill me with fresh oil and attune my heart to yours so I can hear you through the fog and chaos of the hour. Right now, I come higher to be seated in Christ in heavenly places, where I can ride above the storm and prophesy for it to be STILL, in Jesus’ name!
