2025 WAS THE YEAR YOU BROKE THE MOLD
The Lord says over you that 2025 was the year the enemy intended to break you, but instead it became the year God broke you through, and you’re going to look back and realize it was the year God used the most intense warfare, resistance, and persecution of the enemy to actually move you into new ground and into places you’ve never stepped before.
In the natural, it has looked like a battle for your life, a battle for the things you’ve contended for for years—, the very promises God spoke over you and it has felt like a battle on your home front, in your mind, in your body, in your emotions, and every single area became a battleground in 2025 because the enemy was determined to break you down, but instead, God broke you out.
And for the last few weeks, I kept hearing, “2025 was the year you broke the mold.” I also kept seeing this vision of people wandering around right now in what feels like darkness, saying, “God, I don’t feel like I broke through anything, I don’t feel like I accomplished anything in 2025, I don’t feel like I did anything significant,” yet the whole time God has actually been using this year to deliver you from areas of bondage you didn’t even know existed.
When God breaks the mold in your life, He isn’t only breaking unhealthy systems, dysfunctional patterns, or repeated cycles; He is breaking generational curses, dismantling demonic assignments that have been pursuing you and robbing you, and overturning the slow erosion of your strength, vision, and purpose that the enemy has been working against you for years.
When God breaks the mold, He is leading you out of unequally yoked relationships and alignments, out of environments of witchcraft, familiar spirits, and rooms where you were a target and “tolerated.”
When God breaks the mold, He is taking an axe to the roots of everything that has been growing and smothering out the PURE thing you are called to and distracting or diverting your focus.
When God breaks the mold, He is decimating old paths, annihilating every area where you were following the wrong things, moving in the wrong assignments, or operating in “motion mode” instead of being in step with the Holy Spirit, and that’s exactly what 2025 was.
It looked like doors were closing, like things were ending, like ashes and ruins were all around you, but in reality, it was the year God decided to make you, the year He broke you into a new threshold, just like Jacob crossing the Jabbok and wrestling his way into a new identity (Genesis 32:22–30), like Joseph stepping out of the prison and into Pharaoh’s palace in a single day, and like David coming out of the wilderness and finally stepping into kingship after years of pressure. Every one of those moments was uncomfortable, every one painful, yet each ushered them into promise.
As I processed this with the Lord, I kept hearing the word “manna”, and I said, “Lord, what am I seeing?” The Lord said, “This was a year of fresh manna.” For so many who have been wandering around, desperate and longing for revelation, “Where am I going? Where’s the clarity? Where are the blueprints?” God says this has been your fresh manna year, just like Israel in the wilderness, who longed for physical sustenance, but whose deeper hunger was actually more spiritual.
They were fearful, hopeless, and mentally still tied to Egypt, and the Lord was breaking Egypt out of them because Egypt was killing them.
This year, the Lord said, “I’m done with My people living in Egypt in their minds; I need to break them out.”
Manna was the first step. Then came water from the rock (Exodus 17:1-7), another symbol of supernatural sustenance, but the word manna kept stirring in me, and when I looked it up again, its meaning hit me when I read that it literally means “What is it?”
When manna fell, the people didn’t recognize it and said, “What is this?”
And many of you have been asking that same question in this mold-breaking year, “What is this? Where am I going? What am I doing?” yet God has been feeding you, sustaining you, and providing for you right in the middle of your unknown.
Prophetically, this is what manna represents: the provision, sustenance, and protection of God in a season that feels directionless or fruitless, yet is actually deeply forming and forging you. That is the symbolism of fresh manna in your life this year.
The second thing the Lord highlighted was Joshua’s moment in the Promised Land, where God told him to circumcise the men so He could “roll away the reproach of Egypt” from their minds.
“Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” - Joshua 5:9
Even after crossing the Jordan, Egypt still lived in them, and this prophetic act represented God crucifying the old wilderness mentalities. The word reproach here means “Shame, disgrace, scorn, taunt, and humiliation,” and that’s exactly what God has been removing in you in 2025, cutting away what no longer belongs, removing what cannot go forward, and although it has felt painful, it has been deliverance.
Lastly, the Lord reminded me of Elijah in the cave, running from Jezebel and from the assignment against his life, yet God sustained him with supernatural provision, food delivered by ravens, and strengthened him for the journey ahead (1 Kings 17:1-6 and 1 Kings 19:1-18). Again, the theme of manna and sustenance in transition. And God reminding him of his voice, his assignment, and his mantle, which is what God has been doing in you, too.
So let me say this again - 2025 was the year the enemy sought to take you out for good, to take out your calling, your mind, your marriage, your finances, your purpose, and every area of your life, but God used it to lead you OUT!
Woahh… stop the bus. As I wrote that the word MIND made my spirit leap, and I saw the word Nebuchadnezzar and the image of him being driven by madness in the wilderness before he was restored. Maybe that has felt like what 2025 was for you. The greatest MIND BATTLE of your life!
Nebuchadnezzar means “Nabu, protect the crown”. He was trusting in his false gods for his longevity and life, and it didn’t go well for him. What if in 2025 God has been revealing where we have our trust in ourselves or areas that He wanted us to trust in HIM?
What if God used the enemy's mind warfare to lead us out of bondage to false security and mindsets that were limited?
I feel this deeply…that many felt like Nebuchadnezzar in 2025 - in a dark place of mind warfare, yet God is breaking you out!
Whether you’ve fully stepped into that yet or not, know that it is coming. Know that God is doing it even now.
He is breaking you out.

The confined place you’ve been in is breaking open.
God is breaking men out of trauma and pain that made it difficult to lead properly, and He is breaking women out of years of silence, suppression, or “Queen Bee” survival modes that muted their voice.
God is breaking you out of limiting mentalities, out of poverty thinking, out of smallness, out of spiritual environments that lacked His glory and kept you in bondage.
The very foundations of your life have been shaken this year, and God has been breaking that ground and breaking the mold so you can step into a fresh, new place with Him, establishing your calling without limitation, without delay, and without the constant setbacks you once knew.
And I hear the Lord say that as you feel this unknown and the enemy tries to overwhelm you, this is the moment to dream with HIM. This is not an empty blank slate; it is a holy moment where God will cause you to dream like never before.
Instead of constant warfare blocking your way, like the “dogs of doom standing at the door of your destiny,” this will be the year you actually have the freedom, clarity, and capacity to step fully into what God has called you to do.
Lastly, it’s time to shake off survival mode. You made it through. SHAKE OFF EGYPT once and for all and break new ground in Jesus’ name!
