YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO FIND “YOU” AGAIN…
If you don’t find what makes you come alive again, you’ll eventually burn out in this season.
Something God has been doing in this past season is opening your eyes and revealing the snakes and the things that were around you, but He has also thrown a new mantle on you.
And that new mantle and office is what revealed the snakes in the first place. Those two things tend to go hand in hand. The new UNCTION and the revealing of what is POISONOUS to your calling.
The new anointing is what has actually turned the light on in all of the dynamics and spiritual assignments that were around you. It has shone a light into the darkness, and that’s why you’ve been in cleanup mode for a while now.
But the problem I’m sensing and seeing right now is that we’re focusing on cleaning everything up in our hearts, which is great, but if we don’t actually recognize the spiritual shift that has taken place, we’ll miss it.
You see, God has not just been using this season to untether and unyoke you from people, alignments, and situations. He has actually been using it to help you unyoke from a mantle that is now outdated, or one you were never meant to wear in the first place. And for so many people, it’s that religious mantle you’ve been wearing for so long that God has wanted you to come out of.
I’ve been wrestling with this in my own life as well, where it feels like something deeper has shifted than what I can see, and I’m trying to adjust to that.
But the thing is, I have pressures. I have expectations. I have what people think I should be doing and what I’ve been expected to do in front of me. And the Lord is saying over us that much of that needs to go or at the very least be adjusted.
It's not so much about the outward - the expression or style, or method - it's the heart, the spiritual focus, and the SOURCE of your activity and calling that God is recorrecting right now. Because many have LOST THEMSELVES in the fight, the battle, and the OLD THING.
It really is the story of Elijah throwing his mantle to Elisha, and then Elisha had to burn the plow and the oxen. I’ve been feeling this so deeply, asking the Lord, what is the plow I’m meant to be burning right now?
You’ll know this is you by this one indicator: have you stepped into 2026, and it feels like pressure on all sides? You feel overwhelmed, overloaded, and everything going on in the world feels like it’s mentally and emotionally crashing into you. You can’t even handle all the things coming at you, where you once did?
I believe it’s because your last mantle and unction had a certain grace on it for something that this new mantle doesn’t. This new mantle is different. It’s actually the Lord shifting you into who you really are. That’s what this really is. The Lord is shifting you into who you really are.
Many people have been wondering, “God, why do I suddenly find no joy in the things I’ve been doing? Why do I suddenly feel a deep discontent in a lot of the ministry things You had me doing?
It’s simply because the Lord is leading you into who you really are and into what is most authentic for you, and He’s also leading you away from ministry and Kingdom functions that have no grace on them for you anymore.
And thirdly, I feel like the Lord is revealing that there’s a whole new grace and unction on you for something different than what you were doing in the past season.
It may not be drastically different, but it is different enough that you recognize something feels off or not right at the moment. Something has shifted, like you’re operating in a grace that is different from the grace of your past season, and you have to navigate and figure out what that grace is.
I do feel like we’re in a moment right now where the Lord is saying, “Come back to where your oil is.”
It’s a reset. You can’t just do what you used to do. And in fact, it’s not just disobedience to do that; it’s foolish, because that’s where you’re going to burn out. That’s when you’re going to commit to things that are Ishmaels in your life, things you were never meant to build, directions you were never meant to go.
The Lord is trying to bring you into a place where there is complete grace to do what you’re called to do. That’s where the provision will be. That’s where the healthiest you will be. That’s where there will be joy again.
Because that’s another indicator when you’ve lost joy. You’ve lost your peace. Something is off.
Something has shifted. Your joy is a massive indicator of God’s grace on your life for the assignment He has given you. If that joy is gone, that should be an indicator that God has been leading you in a different way and you haven’t been going with Him.
I feel a strong warning in this: if we don’t follow the Holy Spirit, we’re going to burn out. And we’re going to be really frustrated, because it draws extra warfare and attack on us when we’re doing things we’re not called to do.
So this week, I’m praying over you that you would be led by the Holy Spirit BACK to the real you.
This is a deep realignment season. I know it can feel cliché hearing these kinds of words, but it really is a moment where the Lord wants us to take stock of our lives and our callings and ask, what are we called to do and what are we not called to do in this season?
And it’s on a deep level, but it’s also a heart thing. God wants to know that we’re following Him, not doing this out of duty. So many of us are used to doing Kingdom out of duty, and the Lord is saying, “I don’t want that for you. I don’t want you living out of duty. I want you living out of My presence, out of our relationship.”
So this week, ask the Lord: Where is the grace at for me? What should I be doing?
Maybe even right now, with so much going on in the news, you want to respond to everything, but something in your spirit feels like you need to reset your own bricks, your own foundation first. It feels like everything is all-consuming, and you are out of balance.
If you’re out of balance, pause. Let God reset you. Let God recalibrate you. This is so important right now.
We’re praying for you this week. We’re praying for grace to make those shifts and adjustments of priorities.
I keep seeing this vision as I’m writing this, where I see cups stacked in a tower. You’ve been filling the lower-level cups, but it’s not filling your cup at the top. It’s not filling your family anymore. It’s not filling the areas that should be filled first.
You’re filling the bottom instead of the top.
And the Lord is saying, if you begin to fill that one top cup first, everything else will begin to overflow too.
There’s a grace right now to go back to the basics. Where your family gets the best of you. Your marriage gets the best of you. Where God realigns and readjusts you and takes you out of messes you’ve been in for years past.
And out of that overflow will come the purest expression of who you’re called to be, and God is leading you back into that in Jesus’ name.
