THIS IS WHERE THE BATTLE TURNS

“Lions get up!” I hear the Lord saying.

I have had dreams and visions all year of lions, including the wildest encounter with God, where He was the Lion of Judah, and He pounced on me and said, “WAKE UP!”

And we can all feel it. The Lord is stirring us deeply and shaking off all of the last season’s junk at the same time.

Even the very hum of His voice reveals the enemy’s hidden lies and thorns stuck in you.

So far, it’s been a year of deep process because His voice is gentle yet fierce. It’s the perfect oxymoron.

And we have known Him as the Lamb, but this season, He is coming as the Lion to wake up the Church and to reveal the Lion in you and the voice you carry.

And I’ve been carrying this all year, so it only makes sense that the enemy would target my voice. I even preached it the night before.

“The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken, who can but prophesy?” - Amos 3:8

The voice of the Lion convicts and exposes where all counterfeits have a hold.

It reveals where divination and compromise are parading as wisdom and counsel.

It uncovers the enemy’s plan and dethrones all impostors, taking King Jesus’ place in your heart.

Yes, no wonder your voice has been a threat this year, whether you see it as a threat or not…yet.

Yet…because soon you will.

That’s why you have felt the strange tension between the new roar coming out of you and the most severe mind battles of your life.

That’s why you have been experiencing the most devastating warfare on all angles.

Yes, your voice is mighty, and the enemy knows it. Why? You sound like Him - the Lion of Judah.

You have been through the refiner’s fire, and you no longer sound like the religion you came from or the cultish institutions God cut you from.

You sound like…Him. And that’s the greatest threat. You. Sold out to Jesus. Dead to reputation. Alive to Christ.

You are a threat to every false kingdom that works on trading floors. Because you just can’t be bought.

This may seem like a strange word to read after what I went through. What I didn’t share was that while I told you I lost my voice, so much more was happening that doctors couldn’t understand.

I knew the enemy was trying to take me out. So I was stuck in a literal sickbed, unable to talk or hear properly. Yet I heard Him call “Rise up!”

As I lay there feeling so beyond lost and fighting in the spirit, I thought of the scene in Narnia where Aslan was killed by the witch and his mane was sheared off as he was killed. The next day, Aslan comes back from the dead, which we know is representative of Jesus.

But I kept thinking about the Church. About you.

The enemy has wanted you not only voiceless but dead. The attacks against you have not been just to kill your voice but to send you into a sickbed spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and even some physically.

But burning in me is this simple word to deliver to you.

Rise up, Lion Church. Rise up, you have tasted death and have been stuck in your sickbed. Pick up your mat and walk!

Refuse to partner with what you are seeing, feeling, or experiencing!

The devil is a liar!

He roams around like a lion looking for whom he can devour! Liar! False lion!

No more, in Jesus’ name!

And as I lay there in the dark that day thinking of that scene that I knew the Lord was giving me, I suddenly heard Him say so clearly:

“This is a threshold you and my Church are at. The enemy wants to steal your voice, but I am now going to resurrect the voice of the Church with power, authority over the works of the enemy, and with such a prophetic power that it will shake the earth free from its idols and demonic principalities and usher in a new era for the Body of Christ.”

Then He said, “This is a turning point because of a TIPPING POINT.”

And I said, “Lord, what does that mean?” And He said, “It’s where the Church has to get to the end of themselves so that the tipping point tips them off the edge and the LION EMERGES, because My Church has been too passive and TOLERATED far too much!”

Wow… This hit me hard. I think even this whole experience has brought me into a whole new space of realising how underprepared we can be in battle.

Lord, level us up right now.

But let this sink in, Church, you are called to roar, but you are stuck in bed from your past season, and the Lord is calling you out of it this week.

And especially those of you who are in crisis and facing a battle like I was. It feels all-consuming.

It feels like darkness is surrounding you. BUT…. Your voice is your weapon. Your worship is your weapon.

I’m tired of being robbed and seeing Christians robbed because we have not known how to exert the fullness of the authority we possess.

And this week that ends.

This is where the battle turns for you in Jesus’ name.

This is where you get your voice back, and that demonic assignment trying to silence you and shut you down BREAKS, in Jesus’ name.

And lastly, I want to share a very personal moment from this past week. I was in our hotel because we had been stuck here while I was recovering. I was feeling so horrible this one day, and I still had no voice, but I knew I had to fight to worship and somehow roar.

As I worshipped, intercession came over me for you. For the Church. At first, it was authoritative, but then I broke down and cried in a way I haven’t in my life. It was a groan of intercession coming out of me and my own pain, but from a place of deep understanding and compassion for a Church that has felt voiceless and stuck. And I felt something shift.

I felt the tide of the battle turn, and I believe it has.

So that’s it, my friends.

You are more than you know. You carry more than you know. There’s a rumble in you that you haven’t yet heard, but you soon will. And all of hell doesn’t want you to hear it.

So today, please know I am praying for you..

And just on a global level, let me say this. - I am convinced that the reason the enemy is going hard after the voice of the Church and its pure and raw sound right now is because we are at a threshold where if the Church releases its sound and PUSHS BACK against the opposition that is raging we will not only COUNTERACT and DISARM the plans of the enemy but we will BREAK THROUGH into a realm of authority that changes the power play of the Church in a broken world.

That’s what Mt. Carmel was. It was a transition point where those in hiding came out, and God showed up and shifted the balance of power back to the righteous when it was in the wrong hands.

This is a moment to ENGAGE and lift our voices as a weapon, knowing that what we decree, sing, and pray IS LEGISLATED & established.
