God's eyes are on the fringe of the church right now…
Now hear my heart, God's eyes and heart are on the local church too, but I'm highlighting the fact that something undeniable is brewing and building in places we aren't seeing or valuing. Years ago, the Lord said to me, "Look to the wilderness - that's where the new move of my Spirit is going to come from."
It's the John the Baptists who God anoints and calls OUTSIDE of the system to do what religion often strangles and limits. It's the space INBETWEEN the world and the Church where many have found themselves asked to build what is unusual rather than the status quo.
And it's not out of rebellion or from woundedness and rejection, it's sensing they are called to build and create what few have said yes to. A BRIDGE between the current structure and the HARVEST that is incoming. It's the waymakers called to usher in a kingdom age and lead the Church into it.
It's not about replacing the local Church - but ADDING TO IT. There's something apostolic and kingdom God is wanting to do in regions that is going to take A LOT of courage to break away and be obedient to. This is the wrestle so many are in and feeling like they are going crazy for feeling the pull of it, but knowing they just can't do what they did before..
Let me say it like this: God is giving the Church a large net right now, but will we use it, or will we limit ourselves to our old practices and methods? And will we give our lives for what doesn't make complete sense for a while?
Right now, for many, it's a tough place to be in, because it attracts a lot of warfare and accusations for choosing the leading of the spirit over what many are used to. It’s costly to live outside of the boxes of man and choose to be obedient to the Lord when it looks downright FOOLISH.
Yes, I am speaking to you - new breed, unbridled kingdom expressions. It's a lonely road at first, where even you doubt yourself, but remember - God led you this way. Let this moment be worship. HE IS BIRTHING YOU IN A STABLE…Are you ok with that?
