GOD IS EXPOSING THE SWIRL & SWEEPING YOUR HOUSE CLEAN

Have you felt like there’s been a swirl of confusion around your discernment and revelation in the last six months?

Do you feel like you have struggled to understand the spiritual situations that are happening around you?

Has it felt like where you would normally have clarity on revelation, things have felt unclear and confusing? Have you even struggled to discern people’s motives, agendas, and even the source of the warfare coming against you and your family?

There has been a massive assignment in the last six months of confusion, and the reason for this is that the enemy is trying to muddy the lines in your life. There has been a war at the revelation gates of God’s people - your dreaming, your visions, and your discernment. I believe the reason for that is that we would be unable to discern the spiritual assignments taking place around us, and unable to discern the source of the contention and the fight at our doorstep. It’s like an invisible attacker coming at you, and you’re unable to see where this person is coming from. You’re swinging in the dark with your sword, unable to hit and make contact.

It feels like so many have been swinging their swords tirelessly, wearing themselves thin, trying to put out fires. In past seasons, they felt like they were in control of the warfare that was coming. They felt like they knew how to combat the issues coming against their home, their marriage, and their finances. It’s been an all-encompassing, all-surrounding warfare season, and it doesn’t help when it all suddenly feels unclear and uncertain of what’s taking place. This has been the battle that many have been facing.

THERE HAS BEEN CRACKS AND OPEN WINDOWS

At the end of last week, I woke up early one morning after a dream where I saw this intense fog surrounding my home, and I knew it was representative of a spirit of confusion. In the dream, it felt like a dull, sleepy kind of fog that was trying to rest over me, trying to lull me into sleep, but I woke up vigilantly and walked around my house to find that there was one window that wasn’t shut properly from the night before. The Lord said to me, “All it takes is one open door.” Then the Lord began to show me that many people have been living so much in this fluster mode that they haven’t actually been protecting the borders of their homes and marriages. There have been areas and cracks left open, allowing that fog and confusion to come in.

The Lord said to me, “Right now I’m sweeping houses clean that have had demonic activity bringing sickness, financial robbery, marital contention, chaos, and theft of vision. I’m exposing the swirl, and I’m sweeping houses clean.”

Only the next day, we had our Prepare the Way California team night in Huntington Beach. Before the night began, Christy said to me, “Nate, I feel like God’s going to bring major deliverance tonight.” We arrived and met the amazing people joining us here in Orange County for the monthly prayer events. Suddenly, deliverance broke out after the worship. It was powerful and unexpected.

Just before that moment, the Lord showed me the dawning of a new day, and I knew it represented the Body of Christ stepping into a new season. Then I heard John 11:11, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going there to wake him up.”

I saw a vision of Lazarus coming out of the tomb, unraveling from the bandages that had been on him. I knew this represented the Body of Christ stepping into a new day, unraveling the clothes and rags of a past season. It also represented the demonic activity and assignments that had been on many for a long period of time, where the enemy had been afflicting believers with bondage and torment, addictions, and perversions.

WE HAVE BEEN COVERED IN LAST SEASON’S RAGS

As I watched people being delivered, I was thinking about Lazarus coming out of the tomb, and then the story of Jesus and the demon-possessed man came to mind (Mark 5:1-20). That man lived among the tombs - a place of death.

This is what the enemy has been doing to so many believers. The torment and constant attack have kept many living among the tombs spiritually, surrounded by dead things, hopelessness, and lies, and the last season’s wounds and rags. But just like Jesus spoke to that man and set him free, we must remove the lies and bondage of the enemy and come out from those tombs. The same voice that called Lazarus forth is calling His Church out of death, confusion, and oppression.

The Lord was saying, “Lazarus, come forth. Church, come forth.”

What we witnessed over the next few hours was nothing short of amazing as God showed up, setting so many believers free from bondage and torment. I felt it was prophetic of what God is doing right now in the Church. We are at the dawning of a new day in the Body of Christ, and before God launches you into a new day, a new assignment, and a new vision, He has to clean you up from your past season. He has to take care of the areas that are sick, and shut the doors that have been opened in your life.

IT’S AN ASSIGNMENT OF DISORIENTATION

I believe He’s doing that right now, which is why the enemy has increased the swirl and confusion. It’s to disorient us in a moment when we need to be sharp and clear, understanding exactly what’s at play.

The fruit of not being sharp and not knowing the source of warfare or why things are happening is that we begin to project that confusion onto other things around us. We start to fight flesh and blood rather than the real enemy.

We begin to improperly discern the revelation we’re getting, which leads us off course and in the wrong direction. Without clarity, we can’t move forward the way we’re meant to. Then, of course, we lead our families based on the wrong vision, and it robs us of the next chapter before it even begins.

Right now, the Lord is doing two things:

1. He’s exposing the snake and restoring your clarity. He’s showing you the open doors that have been left ajar, and He’s shutting them. He’s breaking the fog and the swirl that’s been over you so you can see clearly what’s going on around you. You are getting back your sharpness and your ability to hear, see, and properly discern what you’re facing. He’s giving you fresh authority in your hands to shut the doors that have been open. The revelation that God shows you will break the disorientation, and you’ll step back into a place of protecting, fighting, and properly covering your home.

2. Secondly, God is bringing a whole new level of freedom to your house. I’ve seen this for a while now; homes are under attack. Families have been the target of the enemy. Why? Because in this next season, revival is family. The Church of Acts is family. The Church going forward will not be about institutions as much as it will be about family. The enemy is trying to stop this next move of God in its infancy, right under our noses. He’s trying to break down your marriage, your finances, and your provision. He’s warring against your kids, breaking down relationships and alignments, bringing sickness and chaos into every single area of your life. But right now, it’s being exposed, and instead of being under it or constantly afflicted by it, you will rise above it and watch the last season’s warfare FUEL you for your next mission.

I believe we’re going to see a flip and a turnaround in this next season, where the very assignment that came against us will turn around, and confusion will hit the camp of the enemy like the story of Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:22.

And then the lost and broken will come running. Why? Because the blindfold that’s been over so many is breaking right now. It’s happening at a level and frequency we have never seen before.

So as we begin this week, I’m releasing this word over you as an authoritative decree:

“Come out from under the swirl! Come out from the blindfolds! Come out from where you’ve been blinded, confused, conflicted, and fighting in the dark! You’ve been air-punching the enemy rather than being targeted and effective. Come out from the confusion in Jesus’ name!”

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I thank You that You are exposing every swirl and sweeping my house clean. Right now, I take authority over every demonic spirit of confusion, torment, fear, and division that has been operating against my home, my marriage, and my family. By the Blood of Jesus, I command every unclean spirit to leave. Every door that has been opened through fear, offense, sin, or distraction, I command it to be shut right now in Jesus’ name. Now, Lord, release Your angels to guard every doorway and every gate of revelation for me and my family. Let clarity flow. Dreams flow, and your clear word be made known again. Holy Spirit, flood my home with peace and purity, and remove all the agendas of the enemy and sever all ties to people’s false words and motives that have kept confusion swirling. Sweep through every room, every relationship, and every hidden place where the enemy has tried to hide. I declare that my house and family belong to you, Jesus, and every voice of accusation and confusion is silenced now in Jesus’ name!

FAMILY IS THE SPEARHEAD OF THIS NEXT MOVE OF GOD

Just like the Scripture says, when Jesus said that when the house is swept clean, you must fill it (Luke 11:24-26). This is not a moment to be passive, Church. As God sweeps your home clean and you go before Him, take account of everything that has been happening, maybe things you’ve allowed or things that haven’t been dealt with. It’s time to fill it. It’s time to build a prayer life in your home. It’s time to light the fire on the altar of your family, dedicate your marriage afresh to the Lord, forgive, and step into a place of protecting and covering. Husbands, lead well. Wives, lead with your husbands spiritually. Take account of your homes so that we can move forward into this next new season of the Body of Christ, where homes are the powerhouses and the spearhead of this great next move of God.

The enemy’s game against your home ends now in Jesus’ name!
