FACING STORMS IN THE CROSSOVER?
Many of you are facing storms, and I can see them, swirling, howling, screaming at you from all sides.
Someone needs this reminder today that in a crossover season, there are going to be storms that swirl around you. Why? Because this is a critical moment where you need to focus on where you're going and where God is leading you.
It's a critical moment where God is delivering you healing, setting you free, and leading you out of bondages that you've been in, and many things that you've been under spiritually, and the Lord is leading you out of them in the same way that He was leading the Israelites out of Egypt, and I've been seeing this for weeks now. It's like this picture of Pharaoh standing and sending his infantry against the Israelites in the last-moment effort to bring them back into bondage.
The enemy can see that you're stepping out from under his control. You can see that you've woken up, your eyes have been opened, and you've stepped into who you truly are.
You stepped out of so much that was containing you for so long and keeping you in bondage, and essentially babysitting you under the guise of religious service, and all of those things have been broken in a very short period of time. Your eyes are being opened. And so you're crossing over, and it’s shifting the foundations in your family, your mantle, your assignment. So much has changed in a short period of time.
You're between the place you've left and the place you're going. It's easy to feel lost. It's easy to feel confused. It's easy to feel even abandoned in this moment. It is a no man's land, in a sense, because you are sojourning from one place to another.
It's a faith moment. It's a moment you're going to have to really stay reined into God's peace and presence just to make it over to the other side.
It's a moment where storms, cyclones, hurricanes begin to swirl around you, tornadoes of thoughts and mindsets and fears and worries swirl around you. Tornadoes of people's words, judgment, all screaming at you from every side.
Tornadoes of slander and character assassination will come at you. Tornadoes of natural situations, circumstances that come against you. Storms of robbery, trying to come at you in your finances, your health, and all of those things, are the enemy's way to release a multifaceted attack against your life to get you to run back to Egypt.
So let me remind you today, don't fall for this. Just as the Lord parted the Red Sea, He is holding back these storms. They look scary. They look menacing, taunting you, mocking you, but they will not prosper.
I rebuke every storm that's coming against your life right now, relational storms, financial storms, health storms, I rebuke them right now in the mighty name of Jesus.
This is not a moment to fear. This is a moment to stay focused on what God is doing in your life. It's not a moment to fall prey to the lie that your life is falling apart because God is actually putting it back together. That is the actual truth. God is putting you back together. He's leading you into your best days. And this is just that temporary transitional moment where God is setting you free. He is freeing you from so many yokes.
The Lord gave me the scripture just a few days ago that He sets your hands free from the basket.
“I removed the burden from their shoulders; their hands were set free from the basket.” - Psalm 81:6
I don't think many people even realise just how much they've been yoked to in this past season, disappointments, failures, wrong assignments, so many things. And in a short period of time, God's been unhooking you, untethering you, and unyoking you from every single one. So stay focused today on the fact that God is leading you somewhere better than you've been.
This is the thing you've been praying for, the breakthrough you've been longing for, that's happening right now. But in this moment, I want to encourage you with one thing that you can do: you can get into the secret place, and you can worship, and you can look at these storms, as Jesus did, and you can command them to be still in Jesus' mighty name.
Whatever is coming at you, rise up and say, “No, I'm not falling for that lie. This thing looks like it's real, but it is not going to prosper. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!”
Begin to get out your promises, begin to prophesy them, and worship your way through this crossover season because ultimately, the enemy's lost ground, and you're moving from glory to glory.
