FROM NOW until 2026, BLOCK OUT THE NOISE AND STAY THE PATH!

I have an urgent prophetic word right now for the remnant that God is leading on a new path. Many are in a new and fresh small beginning that feels very much like a birthing. It’s a moment where we need to be so careful about what we listen to, what we’re paying attention to, what we’re feeding on, what we’re feasting on, what we’re listening to, the influences we have around us, what we’re giving ear to, and who we’re letting into our hearts. Whenever there is a transition point where God’s leading you out of one thing into another, you’ll notice that, in the past season, there have been a lot of doors closing around you.

There’s been a lot of things ending, there’s been closure. We’ve been in this phase where it almost feels like there’s this “nothingness” that we’re in. It feels like we’re treading water in the natural, but in the spirit, this is such a holy place of new beginning and disruption to everything we’ve known. God is leading us on a completely new path, and that’s why it’s so critical right now that we are tethered to His voice above anything else.

We must be tethered to the voice of the Lord; otherwise, we will fall prey to the enemy’s lies and begin to build something different than what God intended for us. We’ll begin to call “kingdom” something that is actually a diversion, or slightly off-kilter to the thing God has called us to step into. It can actually rob us completely of stepping into the new path. And the worst-case scenario is that we stay in the old patterns, the old ways, where there’s no glory and, therefore, no fruit.

DON’T FALL PREY TO ICHABOD OUT OF FEAR!

I heard this word just a few days ago: “Ichabod is trying to return.” Ichabod is trying to return and parade itself as the glory in this moment of time.

“Then she named the child Ichabod, saying, ‘The glory has departed from Israel!’ because the ark of God had been captured…” (1 Samuel 4:21–22).

Ichabod means “the glory has departed,” and it’s famously used as the name of Eli’s grandson, whose birth was marked by the death of Eli’s sons in battle and the capture of the ark of God. The reason for this was that the ark had actually left—the symbol of His presence had gone, so the glory had truly departed. In that moment, it signified that God’s hand, in many ways, had lifted off His people because they had not worshipped Him and sought Him first.

I believe this is a moment where we need to recognise that the ark has moved in the body of Christ. It’s shifted. We are going in a different direction. The Holy Spirit isn’t lifting His hand off us, but He is trying to lead us in a new direction. And in this moment, it’s so critical that we listen to Him and follow Him like the Israelites did otherwise, we’ll be led astray and begin to follow Ichabod rather than the true glory of God.

Just a few nights ago, as I was sleeping, I kept hearing this phrase: “Block out the noise and stay the path.” Over and over: “Block out the noise and stay the path.” I knew it was the Lord speaking clearly that in this season, there is going to be an influx of noise coming from all sides and all angles in this moment of transition.

IS YOUR GUARD DOWN?

The reason we’re so susceptible in this moment is, like I said, our guard is down in many ways because we feel like what we’re entering into, we have no grid for. It’s unknown. We have no understanding of what the new blueprint is. We have no “mud map” before us. So we’re very susceptible, and we can tend to put our feelers out and reach for some kind of stability or comfort. But if we’re placing that comfort in the wrong places, we could fall prey to deception.

Right now, the Lord wants us to stay the path. Nehemiah 4 is the passage that just keeps coming to me. This has been a Nehemiah 4 year, but I believe that, especially the next two months leading into 2026, we’re going to see this play out in the body of Christ where God is doing a new thing. He’s leading us not just to rebuild walls, but to build something fresh and new.

“Then I said to them, ‘You see the distress that we are in… Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.’” (Nehemiah 2:17).

It’s a fresh new start coming out of captivity and breaking new ground in a new era and a new chapter in your own life and in the body of Christ.

In this time, we need to be so careful about what we’re listening to. There are going to be so many multifaceted attacks of the enemy trying to lure you away from the call of God. There are going to be many “second bests.” There are going to be many offers that the enemy tries to bring before you. The trading floor in the spirit is going to be very real in this next season. You’re going to see many people actually fall away and fall into counterfeits, but this is the warning to you right now: stay the path.

This is the time for you not to be listening to all these different voices out there, but to hear the voice of the Lord for yourself, to be in the secret place, to invest in a prayer life and in the Word of the Lord.

Let me share a few insights that I believe will help you unravel and discern these next few months…

THE ASSIGNMENT OF MOCKERY & SUBTLE SLANDER

We need to be careful in this season of the Sanballats and the Tobiahs. In Nehemiah 4, Sanballat attempted to lure Nehemiah into a meeting to harm him, to spread rumours, and to use false prophets to intimidate the Jews, because he saw the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls as a threat to his authority and power (see Nehemiah 4 and 6). Sanballats are those who see the fresh anointing on you right now and are jealous of it. They act as friends, but are actually seeking to destroy you subtly.

Years ago, Christy and I were in a brand-new, fresh season as we were launching our ministry. We’d come out of a very difficult season, where we had left a church. I remember one day getting a text from two previous pastors wanting to meet up so they could corner me and have me question the path I was on. They felt strongly that I was on the wrong path, yet I knew in my heart I was following the Lord for the first time in my life. They didn’t realise it at the time, but there was a Sanballat–type plan and plot in their hearts, areas of jealousy, and a sense that what God was asking us to do was a threat to their authority and power. That night, the Lord gave me a dream and showed me not to meet with them, so I didn’t.

In Nehemiah 4, there’s also a character called Tobiah. He hated the rebuilding efforts and used mockery to demoralise the Jews, and he used his connections within the Jewish community to intimidate Nehemiah and the builders. Tobiah represents mockery, doubt, and discouragement, but he also represents something very targeted, a narcissistic assignment that comes against you to use assault and witchcraft to tear you down. It’s that mockery spirit that will say, “What are you thinking? Did God really tell you to do this?” And it’s so convincing because it often comes from people who are influential around you. Both men represent the spiritual assignment of slander and witchcraft that comes in critical moments. Don’t give them your attention right now.

BEWARE THE TROJAN HORSES // GUARD YOUR GATES!

You are in a major transition right now, and these are moments you will have to guard your gates more than any other season because they are where you tend to feel a little lost, numb, and unsure of where you are going, and the enemy sends DISTRACTIONS, DIVERSIONS, & CONFUSION to take you off track. If you don’t have your guard up right now, you will open the door to the enemy’s influence that will sabotage the next chapter before it’s even begun! So right now, guard your heart above all else. Be careful of what you accept or receive. Be wary of flattery and false words trying to gain access to you. Have a smaller inner circle that you can trust. Stay in the Word and the secret place and don’t be moved or react to the taunts of situations and circumstances trying to bait you into the flesh.

I also want you to be aware of these other tactics of the enemy right now:

  • Flattery and people trying to get to your heart.

  • People trying to access your vision and information.

  • People trying to steal your blueprints and your plans.

  • Gaslighting to make you second-guess your next steps.

  • False guidance and “prophetic” words that seem real because there’s a measure of truth to them, but carry a poison that comes to contaminate the call of God in your next steps.

BLOCK OUT THE NOISE

Right now, we need to block out the noise. We need to block out the plans of the enemy. We need to get into the secret place, and we need to walk out these next few months with fear and trembling, asking the Lord every single day: “What have You called me to, and what have You not?”

It’s a season where you’re going to have to be aware of who’s texting you, who’s messaging you, and what information you’re giving people around you that you shouldn’t be giving. Who is trustworthy and who is not? Be seeking the Lord, not to demonize people, but to be wiser in this season with the people you have around you. We need to be wiser with the circle God has placed around us, because if we’re not, we’re going to fall into the trap of casting our pearls before swine in a season where we need to keep them protected. Protect the anointing on your life. Protect your voice. Protect your family, all of those things that are instrumental in you birthing properly what God’s given you and stepping into this new chapter.

You have to be so careful with what you’re listening to, what influences you’re listening to, what prophetic words you’re taking on, and who has access to your heart; that’s such a big one right now. There is going to be a lot of noise kicking up on social media against the body of Christ. There’s going to be a lot of temptations for you to jump into rings and into fights you weren’t designed to fight. There’s going to be so much noise that it’s going to feel like clanging in your ears. The only way to combat that is to be in the secret place. So block out the noise.

THE ATTACK OF WRONG VOICES

In 2022, Christy and I were in a significant season where we were trying to come back to America. We were in Australia getting our visas sorted after a year of intense warfare. We had so many apostles, prophets, friends, and family surrounding us in that season, telling us we were missing the call of God on our lives, that we needed to stay in Australia, that we were being disobedient, vain, trying to elevate ourselves, which we knew was not our heart. We had so many “Thus saith the Lord…” prophetic words coming at us from all sides and angles, all the way up to leaving.

But I remember a month before we left, we received a prophetic word from a close friend here in America who said, “Nate and Christy, I had a dream of you. There were all these circus animals and noise and music surrounding you as you were walking on this road, and the Lord said to tell you: ‘Stay the path.’”

I feel like I need to release and decree this over you as well: Stay the path. It might get noisy. It might feel like there’s a lot of narcissism and people trying to tell you that you’re crazy, but you need to stay the path. There are people reading this right now, and this is exactly the situation you’re in. It feels like an injustice because there is so much slander and witchcraft on every side. It’s like you’ve been living in a swirl. It’s come at your marriage, your finances, everything, and you’ve been wanting to give up.

I feel this for someone right now: you’ve been wanting to give up. I hear the Lord say: Don’t give up. Stay the path. Don’t give up. Stay the path.

DON’T BELIEVE THE BAD REPORT

Lastly, I want to share with you: the last assignment of the enemy is the bad report.

“They gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land…” (Numbers 13:32).

It’s when it feels like things are crumbling around you. You say, “God, this is so messy. This is not what I thought this moment was going to be. This is not the perfect place to birth. This is not the environment I wanted. Maybe I’m out of the circle or out of the community I used to be in. Maybe things have fallen apart to a point where I’m thinking, ‘This is not the right moment for You to launch me into a new season.’”

The Lord is saying to you now: This is the exact right moment for you. However, you will need to block out the negative report. It might be in the natural, health, finances, or relationships. It’s not that we ignore these things, but I’m telling you right now that largely, many of these bad reports are coming as distractions, yet again, to take you off track.

I want to give you the forewarning: Don’t believe the bad report. Listen to the word of the Lord in this season. Don’t listen to the word of man. Don’t listen to the words of people trying to tell you to “be cautious,” people trying to tell you to back off, people trying to tell you to take your hands off the hem of Jesus’ garment. This is a moment for you to stay the path, to finally step into the voice God has given you, to finally step into the calling God’s given you, to finally lead your family the way you know you’re meant to, to step into the place where you know you need to be a voice on this earth, where God’s called you to be the reformer He’s called you to be, to shake nations like He’s called you to do.

You’ve been playing it safe for too long, and this is the moment. This is not the moment to backpedal or to go around the mountain again. It’s time for you to step into the calling of God on your life, and it starts now with this moment.

I’m praying right now for the fear of the LORD to come over you as you’re reading this, and for the fear of man to break. I’m asking for the swirl and witchcraft to break off you right now in the mighty name of Jesus. That you would step into the fullness of the call of God on your life and that you would stay the path. That His voice would be closer and clearer to you than ever before. That you would see His face and move forward with nothing else in your sights, no more chatter, no more distractions, in Jesus’ name!
