DON’T LET THE ENEMY MAKE YOU MISCARRY

THE ATTACK ON WHAT YOU’RE BIRTHING


I believe that we're in a moment where the enemy really wants to bring about spiritual miscarriage to many in the body of Christ who are birthing something new. Many of you who have been contending for a long time to birth forth promises, new assignments, ministries, ideas, and callings, the enemy wants to make you abort or prematurely cut off what God has given you before it comes to full maturity. And while we're aware of many of the tactics of the enemy, such as tiresome warfare coming at us until we give up. Things like discouragement, fear, and unbelief, or direct word curses, preying on unhealed wounds, or moving out of God's timing, I believe the greatest cause of spiritual miscarriage is one specific thing right now…

The DREAM: THE “GOD ORDAINED” MISCARRIAGE


A few days ago, I had a dream that I was speaking to a woman who had just miscarried, and she was trying to put a positive spin on why it was okay, trying to say this was a God-ordained miscarriage. She was trying to convince me that she didn't need to be sad or in grief because God never intended for this baby to be born. Then she said how many wise people around her had counselled her and agreed to the same understanding of what happened, and they even convinced her that maybe it wasn't a baby at all, or hers to bring into the world.

THE GRIEF OF LOST CALLINGS AND ABORTED ASSIGNMENTS


I woke up feeling this deep, deep grief that people were believing a lie that was causing them to miscarry their new assignment, their new mission, their new dream from God before it even began by making them question the promise, instruction, and call of God on our lives. And it all comes back to one simple thing: Who told you?

THE QUESTION GOD IS ASKING RIGHT NOW (GENESIS 3)


In Genesis 3, we see Eve in the garden being deceived by the serpent, and God says to her, “Who told you?” I believe God is asking us the same thing right now. Who told you? What lies are you believing? Wrong voices and wrong influences around us will cause us to miscarry the call of God in our lives before it reaches full term. And I believe that’s been one of the biggest assignments of 2025, to make you miscarry the promise, or to divert it, and then twist it. That’s where the enemy has sent familiar spirits, constant wrong counsel, constant manipulation, constant control, constant words of caution wrapped in spiritual language and “wisdom” that seem right, but are actually demonic.

COMMON SNEAKY TACTICS


• Friends carrying familiar spirits who sound comforting but steer you off course.


• False wisdom and guidance dressed up in “Godly concern” but rooted in fear or control.


• Manipulative counsel from people who don’t want you to outrun them spiritually.


• Voices that over-spiritualize fear, calling it “discernment.”


• Constant caution disguised as care, draining your faith instead of fueling it.


• Influences that twist God’s words to plant doubt.


• People who coddle your wounds and gaslight your calling, keeping you stuck rather than helping you move forward.


• Familiar spirits that mimic the Holy Spirit, but always pull you into confusion instead of clarity and peace.

These are the subtle tactics that make people miscarry what God is trying to birth through them.

THE DANGER OF WRONG VOICES


So I want to ask you - what voices have you been listening to that have been pulling you away from what God wants to birth through you?

Some signs you’ve been listening to the wrong voices:


• You’ve been questioning what God has given you.


• You’ve been in conflict and double-minded.


• You’ve been in deep fear and frustration.


• You’re being pulled to the left and to the right.

• You feel like you are living in a thick swirl or under a spell.

• You want to give up and forfeit it.



Conflict over the promise is a sign the enemy is trying to bring you into miscarriage!

KICKING PEOPLE OUT OF THE BIRTHING ROOM


So how do you counteract it?

This is a season where you’re going to have to kick a lot of people out of the birthing room. This is a season where you’re going to have to focus on your spiritual health in the same way a mother focuses on her physical health during pregnancy.

This is a season where you’re going to have to be more focused on the Word of God than on other people’s opinions. And this is a season where you must be intentional about bringing this to full term rather than constantly finding yourself in that same painful pattern of losing the baby and having to start all over again.

BRING IT TO FULL TERM


I’m praying over you today that you will not fall prey to this assignment, but that you will step into the season and finally birth what God has given you.

It might be a new ministry, a new idea, a new mission, or simply a new way of walking it out. Right now, the counterfeit voices are raging at you, but don’t fall prey to them. Recognize them for what they are and step back into clarity and peace.


Don’t forfeit the baby. Bring it to full term, in Jesus’ name.
