COME OUT FROM UNDER THE TABLE!

I went live this morning on Instagram, speaking about the grief that many people feel while transitioning. You can watch here.

It’s the same grief the Israelites felt when Moses was unable to cross into the Promised Land, and the same grief the priests felt when the temple was being rebuilt.

There is this space where it doesn’t make sense, where, before the birthing, there is a grief that comes from detaching from the old thing we’ve been in bondage to. And that’s what many people are going through right now.

As I ended the live, I had a powerful vision. It was from Psalm 23 where the Lord anoints our heads with oil.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows…”

I believe this is a Psalm 23:5 moment, where God is pouring oil over your head in the presence of your enemies.

I don’t know who this is for, but I want to tell you what this means. This is not about people. Remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood; this is about the enemy.

This is a season where your mind and heart have been through intense warfare. You wake up every single day feeling anxiety, grief, and heaviness. And God’s remedy is this: He is calling you out from under the table where you have been begging for scraps in this past season, and He is seating you at His table.

He is anointing your head with oil in front of the enemy!

You see, the enemy thought he could take you out for good. These last few years, he thought that if he bombarded you from all sides, he would win, and maybe you feel like he did.

Maybe you feel depleted, on the brink of death, but in the middle of all of that, the Lord has called you to sit at the table. He has called you to feast upon His goodness, where you’ve only been feasting on hope deferred, pain, delay, and fear. The Lord is now seating you at His table. He is anointing your head with oil.

Why does He anoint your head with oil? Because when you go through battle, it affects your mindset. It affects how you see yourself and how you see Him. And when He anoints your head, that oil drips into the very recesses of your soul and begins to heal and deliver you from the past season.

I believe this is a moment where the Lord is pulling you out of the mental battle, the trauma, and the pain you’ve been in. I believe this is a moment where the Lord is standing you on your feet, dusting you off, and putting a fresh “HA” in your belly again.

Even as I’m writing this, I feel the Holy Spirit say, “It’s time for the ha. It’s time for the ha. It’s time for the joy of the Lord!”

It’s time for the joy of the Lord to be your strength again. You’ve lost your strength. You’ve lost your fight. You’ve lost your unction. You’ve forgotten what it feels like to carry the anointing of God on your life. You’ve forgotten what it feels like to sense the presence and the glory of God. You’ve forgotten what it’s like to dream with the Lord.

You’ve faced so many battles. You’ve won some and lost many, and you’ve forgotten what victory feels like. You’ve forgotten what overcoming feels like. You’ve forgotten who you are. And the Lord is saying right now, “You are My son. You are My daughter, in whom I am well pleased.”

In this moment, He is anointing your head with oil, and as He does, it is severing every demonic word spoken over you. It is severing every soul tie. It is cutting you off from the past season of being under the table, being the tail and not the head. It is pulling you out of the mess and the battle you’ve been fighting in the second heavens, and pulling you into your rightful place, seated in Christ in heavenly places.

I feel that this week the Lord is doing a deep work in your mind, shifting how you are seeing circumstances and situations around you. You’ve been in damage-control, survival mode for so long, and the Lord is pulling you back into victory.
